Definitely count me in on the postcard plan as well. ;D And I agree with those who said we should write to the cast at least once. True they don't have a lot of pull with FOX, but if they see how many fans DA has, then they'll be more likely to come back to it if we reach our goal. If one of the cast members has no interest in returning to Dark Angel, then would be kind of...well, bad. So it's always good to let them know we we're out there and we want our characters back.

Well troopers, then let's form up! Lock and cocked! However, are we just gonna nuke JA? Because sofar there still been no update to the intel I've posted here which means that many of the stars will be MIA! But if we're gonna go for it we could shoot for 16 June, make it the 1 month anniversary. For those having a difficult time, go to www.catherinebellonline.com and select About CB and Career. It's chicken soup for cancelled TV show fans!

Okay, slightly off-topic from the stuff we were talking about before but . . . Have any of you been getting back snail-mail that was sent to the DA addy? The one that they have on the DANation postcards? Just today I got back a letter that I sent on the 15th of May, BEFORE the official cancelation. It's not like I'm in another country, just on the other side of the US, but it was kind of weird. The excuse they used was that the addy no longer existed, but since it's been so long, it just seems really strange.

You know, I have no way of knowing if my postcards ever made it because I didn't give a return address. (Stupid of me, huh? ) "No longer exists?"? ? ? ? You're not the only one, though, SuperBlonde.

Maybe it's USPS instead of FOX, I've sent them letters in envelopes since May 16th, definately with my return address because I have stickers. None of them returned.

I just saw over on the "Is FOX Blocking Us Thread" where someone else had a letter sent back. It makes you wonder. I haven't gotten anything else back, but then again, that was the only thing with a return address that I've sent to that addy. I leave a return address off the postcards, and the mail I've sent otherwise has gone to individuals. I wouldn't be surprised if FOX considers that address non-existant now. If you don't have a show anymore, then you'd move all of the people who had anything to do with it, right? So that office wouldn't exist anymore, so there'd be no one to send it to.
And BTW, this letter was dated May 15, before the massive amounts of mail starting coming in. Who knows? You guys may be getting a hell of a lot of it back soon.

Send all mail to:
Fox Broadcasting 10302 West Pico Boulevard Los Angeles CA 90035
And don't make a note of Dark Angel on the address.
They have several addresses in the area and mail all goes to the same place.

hello all
i'm not sure if this is the right thread to mention this but i got another reply from one of the many emails i sent and i thought you might like to read it? I sent the email on the 4th June.
The mail's quoted below - not exactly exciting stuff but at least I am getting replies from the UK Fox affiliates - still nothing from any US emails or postcards sent.
bye
****************** Dear
Thank you for your recent email to Robert Fraser who has asked me to respond on his behalf.
With regard to Season 3 of Dark Angel there is no information yet as to whether this will be produced.
At the present time there are no plans to repeat Season 1 and 2. However, your interest in Dark Angel has been noted and passed to Sky One for their information.
Thanks, once again, for contacting us. We always welcome customers' comments and actively encourage viewers' feedback.
Kind regards

Thanks nevyn. It's fun to read such a polite reply from a Fox affiliate. A few here in the US were very nice but some got openly hostile! And thanks for mailing your affiliates. Fox must be mighty surprised and sorry I hope that the cancellation is causing such a fuss.

Thanks nevyn. It's fun to read such a polite reply from a Fox affiliate. A few here in the US were very nice but some got openly hostile! I'm sorry to hear that the US Fox affiliates are being so rude. I have received 3 replies from UK affiliates now and each one was perfectly polite and not a "form" email. I was amazed that they were so polite because I have heard how downright rude things had been in the US. My US emailing attempts have just returned automatic responses or nothing at all so far. I don't know how much clout the UK affiliates have with Fox in general but at least the UK companies seem to be unhappy that Dark Angel has been cancelled, it has been a very popular show for them - they say they will pass along my email but tell me not to get my hopes up that it will be renewed

Please give me any addresses if you need someone to write and under what heading do i go to to send postcards! I REALLY want to help this cause. I'm even trying to persuade my friends into helping. OHHHH! And just an idea I think we sould go to chat sites like AOL or teenchat and ask if there are any D.A. Fans in the room and notify them of our cause. I volunteer if you think the idea will work. Please let me know!!!!

I have not received any replies to any of my e-mails, postcards, or letters. I did write a letter to James Cameron and to Fox early in the campaign. No news is good news? At least, it's not overtly rude.
Also, "off topic" - the virus-infected e-mails seem to have stopped.

Rage, the addresses are at the beginning of this thread and the Mailing Campaign of the Week thread.
Ginny -- some mail is being returned, but a lot isn't. Do you remember whether you specified "Dark Angel" on the envelope?
