Thank you for your message. Your comments and questions are important to FOX19.
As you are aware, the decision to cancel "Dark Angel" was made nationally by the Fox network, not locally by FOX19. We will be happy to pass your comments along to the network; however, if you wish to voice your support for the program directly to them, their email address is AskFox@fox.com.
Again, thank you for your interest in FOX19.

Thanks, thundercat. ;D
As you know we've heard some noise from the media that Fox's new fall schedule is risky at best and a probable failure at worst.
In the next day or two we'll do our first blitz to the affiliates, plus Fox, mentioning the articles.
Stay tuned to this thread and to the site banner -- date of Blitz #1 and letter suggestions will be posted!

I agree SM I heard the same thing about FOX's new fall lineup being a failure as well and I think this e-mail blitz to FOX would get "the powers that be" thinking. I was also wondering are you going to e-mail other media outlets as well because I got some e-mail adresses for some national radio shows and I was wondering should I post them.

I'm getting ready to send out my snail mails for the show. I already did the e-mail blitz and plan to send e-mails to UPN and the WB too. I plan on sending mail to Fox, but also UPN and the WB because these networks might be very interested in the show (especially UPN because if next year is Buffy's last, they would want to hold onto a similar audience) I have to find all the addresses now. Anyone happen to have them?

I was asked to post this by Hallenwen. After reviewing what other responses people have been getting, this is a slightly different message from Rick Oliver:

Our next mail blitz should be snail mail to the top five or maybe top 10 largest affiliates. Yeah, i know it's been posted that we should focus on Cameron and ask for movies, but the least that could come out of asking FOX and its affiliates for a season three is FOX asking Cameron to make the tv movies. I mean, obviously we would watch the movies, if that's all we get. Besides Cameron already knows of the large fan base. I'm sure he brought this up when he was trying to get his show renewed. It's FOX who's clueless.
No matter which direction we take- asking for movies or the series back, will let the network and Cameron know that the fans do exist and we love the show. All you're accomplishing by announcing the fact the we "definitely" won't be getting the series back is people giving up- no longer calling, sending e-mails, snail mail, etc. Let people stay delusional, it's not hurting anyone and it keeps people still in the game.
The Top TEN markets are: NY, LA, Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, San Diego, Phoenix, San Antonio, Dallas, and Detroit.

And coming up next ...
JIM CAMERON DAY!
A day on which we all beg, plead, and grovel for more DA to the man himself.
Does this work for everyone?
Send your handwritten, snail mail letters and your postcards to arrive on Thursday May 30.
Then, that day, we also email him (and the execs and affiliates) to reinforce our message: MORE DA PLEASE!

Anyone tried calling the viewer response line lately? Maybe we should plan on another day of doing that - let them know it wasn't just a one time thing and that we aren't going to go away anytime soon. They may think it was just an immediate reaction and we will forget about them quickly - need to let them know that isn't so.
Can the mailing committee coordinate a phone in day as well?

For the Jim Cameron day, does anyone know how long it would take snail mail to get there from Minnesota? A rough estimate at the very least? I have no clue so... And I was thinking, are we going to blow up Fox's inboxes over the weekend? We should have 3 days to get them really full. Just a thought.

Wondering if we've had any effect on Fox so far?
Who knows if part of this is thanks to us ... but I found this article on zap2it tonight. Seems like Fox feels kinda defensive right now.
LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Even though FOX's intrigue-drama "24" goes into its Tuesday night (May 21) season finale with a less-than-exciting 5.4 rating/8 share average for the season, network executives are keen on keeping it around for another year. This is partly due to the fact that FOX is facing a massive upheaval of its primetime schedule and is looking for stability wherever it can, say network executives. It's also due to the fact that "24" was one of FOX's highest rated shows to debut this season. "I think it's pretty obvious that not everything went as planned or as well as we'd hoped," Sandy Grushow, chairman of FOX Television Entertainment Group, told reporters during a conference call. "It's also pretty obvious that there's still work to be done in terms of rebuilding FOX's primetime schedule." In addition to canceling "Ally McBeal" and "The X-Files," FOX also canned "Dark Angel," "Temptation Island," "That '80s Show," "Titus" and "Undeclared." Among the network's new programs, both "Andy Richter Controls the Universe" and "The Bernie Mac Show," will return next season, though "Richter" is being held until midseason, where it debuted this season. And that's in addition to the three comedies and five drama series that the network ordered to fill the vacant fall slots. "Although we needed to add several new hours to our schedule, we don't feel that we're starting from scratch because we're going into the fall with established series leading off five of our seven nights," says Gail Berman, president of entertainment for FOX. "We have a strategy in place for rolling our new fall schedule in the most effective manner possible."
