I just looked at the website posted above and it has ff as 3.3 rating for the 10/4. The ship is sinking. ;D ;D

That's interesting. The early rating I saw was a lot higher. Wonder if it was a typo.

*delurk* The early ratings have been wrong because FOX aired sports in LA and NY that friday at 8pm. 3.3 are the corrected final Firefly ratings. The axe is swinging... And there's a new poll on www.thefutoncritic.com: 'That Was Then' and 'Push, Nevada' were first, who's next?Right now, Fruitfly is only #2, guess it needs a little help. So, vote for Fireflea, it deserves to be number one! At least once... ;D *back-to-lurking*

Just saw something interesting at <http://www.thefutoncritic.com/cgi/gofuton.cgi?action=adrates&id=2002> It's got a list of how much on average a 30 second advertising spot would cost in shows. Here's what it has for ff 72. firefly fox $81,000 in 2000 a 30 second ad for da was 48. dark angel fox $137,000. and average income per episode for fall 2000 (based on eight minutes of ads per half-hour) 43. dark angel fox $4,384,000. I'd really like to know how ff is saving them money! ;D

I just spotted this as well....I'm a little on the slow side today... average income per episode for fall 2002 (based on eight minutes of ads per half-hour) 59. firefly fox $2,592,000 nearly two million less than da made for them it's first season!

This continues to prove there was no justification for the cancellation of Dark Angel.
Gail Berman just didn't like DA. The series was already in place when she was hired and since she couldn't be Executive Producer, that was it for her.
But don't get me started on that Vermin person. The mods will have to drag me off the board while I am screaming about Vermin and flyswatters.

Last night's early rating was low, low, low, according to zap2it: only 2.7. DA reruns did better than that after the cancellation!

;D ;D ;D ;D And it keeps on dropping..... Have to say I'm loving it. Get those flyswatters ready to send to Vermin and Fox with our message: They did their job -- compliments of the Dark Angel fans The day the series is officially cancelled mine will be going in the mail to Fox and Vermin! Not before since they don't deserve any publicity - but better believe I'm sending them one once Fruitfly bites the dust!!

I'd better go buy a flyswatter now so I can use it before I send it to them - don't want to send in a nice new clean one, do I?

Better yet, stick the flyswatter in a pile of fresh cow manure, that would really tell them what you think. You could always send them a can of Raid. Just make sure it's empty first, you don't want them to think you bought a can just for them. Also, you could send a little note saying the Raid did its job.

I think fox could start up another reality tv show based on the reactions the Vermin and other make when opening their mail. I'd actually be interested in seeing that. ;D ;D ;D

Even Dark Angel's lowest S2 ratings were not that bad! Do I laugh or cry that DA was cancelled in favor of this piece of trash?
Can we somehow get a pay-per-view feed of the next Fox executives meeting? I would watch that on a Friday night at 8pm PST on ANY channel!
