Tell us what DVDs or tapes you watched lately. Or what you want to buy or rent. Or maybe you've watched something from your extensive library of oldies but goodies. Whatever - sock it to us. I just ordered Season one of Lois and Clark for my parents and Season three of La Femme Nikita for me. Nikita can kick ass pretty good for a regular girl. ;D

I recently watched "The Good Girl" and enjoyed it because it was nice to see Jennifer Aniston in a role that was more dramatic opposed to her comical roles in movies.

When JA and MW were in Germany right after DA was canceled , they did a German TV interview, one of the questions was "what actors do you admire?" and one of MW's answers was Klaus Kinski and JA Laughed out "he was crazy!". Well I saw this documentary imdb.com/title/tt0200849/ about Kinski and guess what? He was Crazy! ;D ;D The best part was when the story is told about them making a movie in South America and one of the Indian extras hated Kinski soooo much he offered the director to kill Kinski and then you see the guy in a scene next to Kinski and he really did look like he wanted to kill him ;D ;D.

I recently rented "The Aviator" and "National Treasure" and enjoyed them both. I thought that Cate Blancett did a wonderful job as Katherine Hepburn and I think it's difficult for an actor or actress to portray someone who was and still is so well-known. I thought that despite a PG rating that there was still plenty of action in "National Treasure" and that it was a fun film that wasn't dumbed down.

I recently rented "Murder By Numbers" and enjoyed seeing Ryan Gosling in a darker, more dramatic role than his role in "The Notebook."

I had to see this movie because I lost a bet with my friend who loves Sandra Bullock. I begged, pleaded and cried, but he made me go.
I was surprised I liked it, except the ending kind of sucked. Sandra Bullock was good and all the guys were good.
Don't know Ryan Gosling. If he's one of the usual-off-the-street-pretty-boy-teenage actors I don't want to know him. They all look alike to me.
Michael Weatherly is all the pretty boy I can handle.

Was it the guy that you mentioned seeing "Miss Congeniality 2" with? He sounded like a Sandra Bullock fan. Ryan Gosling played the rich kid who had a rich well-connected father. I liked Ryan's role because he did it well and he was believable and it was completely different from his role in "The Notebook", where he's playing the romantic lead.

That is the sweetest movie. I watched it and then, like a fool, I let a friend borrow the DVD. It's making the rounds of Los Angeles and I'll probably never see it again. I admit to being sappy but I liked it better than "The Incredibles," which was really cute, but I cried in "Bambi" Bambi started it all, the dead mother syndrome.

I rented "Hitch" and enjoyed it because it didn't try to be anything over the top and it was nice to see Will Smith in a romantic comedy which is different than his previous films. I also saw "The United States of Leland" and enjoyed it because it was a good ensemble film with a good cast.

I brought Charmed Season 1 on DVD yesterday. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I have Michael Weatherly on DVD being a good Warlock trying not to go back. It's amazing how much the cast has changed without me realising it.
