Interesting in light of a certain person's recent remarks about actors she's known being diva's and requiring a lot of maintenance...

Michael doesn't come across like a high maintenance guy, he seems like a humorus fun loving guy. ;D

The Producer of Her Minor Thing has actually been in contact with me via my home email. She sent me a Her Minor Thing postcard so I more likely to believe her comments than I am comments from magazines when we all know they lie to get sales.

I don't diasagree with her at all - everything I've ever heard about Michael agrees with what she is saying. My comment was sarcasm directed at...well I won't say who here... but I've lost a lot of respect lately for the person I'm referring to.

more from imdb.com from me: I read somewhere that Christian wore his own clothes in the movie, is that normal? Please tell me that flowery shirt that Michael is wearing in one of the movie still wasn't clothing he actually owned. from Debra: Christian did wear his own clothes. He wanted to as he felt it helped him feel the character. Michael's wardrobe was done by our talented wardrobe person Farrel Scott and her small crew. She was trying to help us show the "Tom" character at times was more a slave to fashion than sensibility. This is the shirt I was talking about

Me: That's a relief. Seeing that shirt reminded me of the time Michael shaved all his hair off. I could hear the screams from American women all the way over in New Zealand.
Did any of the cast have to do indepth research for their characters? Estella plays a fire fighter right? Or did you just have experienced people on set to help them make their characters realistic?
Debra: LOL. I like that shirt! (; I wonder if he took it home with him...
Christian said while answering questions in Seattle that what drew him to his role is he's a romantic like his character, but not quite as nice a guy. I don't know, he seems very nice to his fans and to us.
Estella said she likes to play off from the other actors when she's working. She actually plays a computer geek who works for the fire department. This is a job I did and some of the insane stuff I went thru inspired a unique opportunity to explore this in a script. (I one time collected dynamite during a 'safe & sane 4th of July fireworks exchange' program while I was fixing a router at a station and the crew was out chasing an arsonist. It was quite a fiascal because I didn't KNOW it was dynamite - it didn't look like the stuff Bugs Bunny has! The Unibomber was on the loose threatening to blow up LAX at the time so needless to say, explosives were a bit of a trigger for the bomb squad to talk to me A LONG time. This is one of the backstories that didn't make it to the screen.)
Michael told me that he felt for his character because sometimes he thinks men and women issues are so simple yet we make them difficult. He said he forgives his character for his blunders because of this. He also carries off some nice romantic parts.
All three actors were excited to work with one another and Charlie so that drew them to the project. Additionally after the table reading, they all felt the chemistry between them was really fun and the project would come off nicely.
Christian said in Seattle he was very proud of this work. And I'm proud of them, they all did a wonderful job!

This is cool that you've had a dialogue with one of the Producers of the film, ER. Please keep it up. ;D This is the first thread I look at every morning. I wonder if Michael will go to Sacramento. Certainly Sir DPB would give him one afternoon and night off.

Debra's really good at answering all of my nosey questions. She did tell me that Michael is attempting to get to the Sacramento Film Festival, but as yet he can't confirm he'll be there.

from imdb.com - baku_5 Will this be at any other film festivals? I'm thinking specifically of the Chicago International Film Festival.
Debra Hello,
We did not apply to the Chicago International Film Festival. The closest to you would be the Milwaukee Film Festival if we get in. If (for some reason) we get a late invitation to the Chicago International Film Festival, I will reply back to this posting. Sorry!
Debra
baku_5 Aww, none of the movies I want to see ever come here. I've had to travel as far as Vancouver to see some movies... okay, they were Canadian movies so that was probably why, but still. I'd love to see a Q&A with Michael and Christian, could you keep us updated as to whether they would appear at any screenings?
Thanks so much for posting like this! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
