I found this today in campaign guestbook. According to this person, he heard about the campaign through the ad in the Hollywood Reporter today.

Hi All!
I went to Border's today especially to see this ad. I found a copy of the current issue (it was something like the Sept 17-24 issue). Anway, I looked all through it and there was no ad.
Really. I'm positive that it was the Hollywood Reporter. The only thing that I could think was that it said it was the international version. Maybe there are different versions.
Can someone help?

I am not sure if bookstores will be selling the Emmy Special Edition.

im wondering..what does the hollywood reporter look like? is it made out of thin paper like newspaper are, or is it a real magazine (with the glossy pages and so forth)? thanks!
also, do you know how long the issue will be on news stands?

Wow, that's truly a stunning ad -- there's no way it won't be noticed. I only wish I had joined up on this forum in time to make suggestions to the text though: it comes across more as a $3000 thank-you note than a plea to get a great show back on the air. Oh well, I'm sure the point will still get across.

Exactly what it was supposed to convey. We think our tens of thousands of postcards and letters to Mr. Cameron and Mr Eglee did the begging.

Since the cancellation (low may it be spoken! ) of DA, we all know now that Cameron was keeping busy w/his latest pic, the George Clooney vehicle "Solaris." Anyone know if he's (or any other DA staffer, like Eglee) made any kind of official (or unofficial) public response to the HR Ad yet???

I don't expect to see an acknowledgement of the ad although it would sure be nice. All we can do is hope that it reminded them that a lot of fans went to a lot of work just to say Thank You and to let them know We Want More.
