Last week I got the DVD box set for Undeclared Ahahahahaahahahahahaha too funny ;D. This is the only regular TV series besides Dark Angel, that I've ever bought on DVD. It's about a bunch of freshman in college, it's smart and funny and of course it was killed by those evil bastards at FOX . imdb.com/title/tt0273028/A friend just ordered Undeclared and I'm sure he'll want me to watch it at his place. He's learned not to loan his DVDs. He knows how to cook caramel popcorn. Yummy. Yes dzero, that is cooking - putting good stuff in a pan, stove, wooden spoon, stirring - it's called cooking. Now, at last, good news for me. I've been waiting for this one. A friend just ordered Undeclared and I'm sure he'll want me to watch it at his place. He's learned not to loan his DVDs. He knows how to cook caramel popcorn. Yummy. You're not going to like it , you're' going to come back here and tell us "the actors are all too homely" for you to enjoy the show ;D. I considered mentioning it in my first post "this recommendation is for everyone except Arie" but I figured you were never going to watch anyways. Yes dzero, that is cooking - putting good stuff in a pan, stove, wooden spoon, stirring - it's called cooking. I'm the one who told you that heat was required for it to be called "cooking" ;D.

Ha. That's what you think. I love homely actors. Vince Vaughn and Joaquin Phoenix are two of my favorites and they certainly aren't pretty boys. I don't like to watch homely guys who are thrown into a part that could be interchanged with any mediocre actor. Like the geeky guy on NCIS. Anyone could do that part. They could have found a better actor but couldn't afford it. So why didn't they plunk a great looking actor so at least we good admire the guy. I admire competency. Good acting, good writing, good directing and excellent actors do it for me every time. Females like to watch great looking men just like guys like to watch hot females. Have you noticed a homely female in the cast of NCIS? No you haven't. Double standard and it's not fair to my eyes. ;D To be honest, Michael Weatherly is the only pretty boy actor I've ever really admired. At first I had his looks confused with the warm chocolate chip cookies and cold milk, but I soon straightened that out. ;D

Another favorite is Josh Charles and he's not that good looking. He was Dan Rydell on Sport's Night

Saw Madagascar this week, it was a nice enough movie, nothing great but certainly watchable. I loved the penguins ;D, they were the best part and on the DVD there is a short film featuring them as the lead characters .

OMG I've been praying to the Blue Lady for "Action" on DVD.
"Action" is a roll on the floor, laughing 'til you pee, series that is the funniest, most vulgar thing ever. At the time it had the record for the most complaints of any series on Fox.
So many viewers hated this series. Hmmmmmmm, I wonder why they watched it.
The ep with Sandra Bullock was my favorite. She played herself and was better than any role in a movie. Peter Dragon secretly taped their sexual liaison and sold it to cable TV and her father saw it. I loved it when she tried to beat him to a pulp.
Thank you, thank you, dzero. You're the only guy to make me happy in two months. ;D

For a couple weeks I have been trying to rent a copy of the Family Guy DVD Family Guy Presents: Stewie Griffin - The Untold Story , very frustrated cause they only have one copy and it's always out , whenever I asked about it the clerk would always offer to "sell" me a copy, only $20. Gee....you think them only having 1 copy to rent might be a ploy to "sell" more copies? . Anyways, I was a little disappointed , maybe I was expecting too much but it seemed like a below average episode of the series . Still it did have some laugh out loud moments and any fan of the series will probably get enough out of the DVD for it to be worth while.

I recently rented "The Butterfly Effect" and I thought that while this film and character were different for Ashton Kutcher in that he was serious and not trying to be funny or comedic that he is overexposed in the media, so it's harder to take him seriously and easier to write him off as an actor.

I know he was on some TV series but I couldn't tell you which one. The Butterfly Effect was the only time I've seen the guy and he was pretty good. That's not a movie I'd watch again, or buy on DVD, but it was better than a lot of stuff I've seen lately.
That Kutcher guy is only over exposed to people like you who watch the celebrity TV shows and read the fan mags. You are in a minority. The majority of people don't know who he is dating and where he goes to party.
Those of us who hang out on fan sites are one teeny drop in the big bucket of fans.

I don't think that anyone really has to watch any gossip shows or read gossip magazines to see him, I think that you simply can turn on the television. I only watch a celebrity or gossip driven show if there is something on it that I'm actually interested in such as NCIS. In this case, I think that people know his significant other because she's famous on her own without him.

Don't tell me! I'm not going to google it, but I'm going to try and figure it out. I'm sure I must have seen it somewhere.
I think the TomKat news knocked everything else out of my head. Now where's the little barfing smilie when I need him. ;D
