Has anybody else the suspicion that FFnet is cutting down long reviews now? My review for ‘Friday Night’ was shortened significantly both in my review history and the review page of the story. (Arg, the one and only DA thing I could do today and what happens!!!! This is just the logic continuation of today’s idiotic things (Forgetting my glasses at the swimming pool (which I realized pretty fast ), forgetting wallet when going shopping, crashing shin in car door (which must hate me after already hitting my nose on Monday), having a leaky yoghurt in the shopping bag, dropping two plates, one of them on my poor toe, sleeping through the ringing of my alarm clock this morning, bumping into everything in sight and a near crash with a house corner with my bike - all in one single day)I already had this suspicion on Monday with my review of the last chapter of ‘Asylum II’. (Poor Shy probably runs away in horror now at the thougth of an even longer review ) It wasn’t as obvious as with ‘Friday Evening’, it just seemed shorter (and I could have sworn I commented on their fake marriage ), but I didn’t compare it with the version in my email/review Word document. Maybe / hopefully only an exceptional mistake of them. Edited to say: Did FFnet abolish their support site? Or am I just too stupid to find it? Does anybody have a link?

Should I just mention than without him, no FFN? (Don't touch Bill, he's my own meal-ticket I'll bite! ;D) Sorry, I’d never touch your meal-ticket. A stupid question from a computer illiterate, (I can’t even find the fast edit funcition on FFnet on my own ): Did you mean no development leading to things like FFnet without Bill Gate or that FFnet today couldn’t work without Microsoft based systems (at least theorectically)? Both? Don’t kill me for my naivety. How about you won’t bite me and I won’t kick you? (I don’t taste well anyway, as my brother, who has first hand experience of biting me (and I have a first-hand scar from it), can tell you ;D)

Don’t kill me for my naivety. It's not naive! It's probably just not your fields (got the right word I hope!) I just mean Bill Gate was the creator of Internet (bah, creator... maybe not, but he was who has believe it was possible and start it) (I don’t taste well anyway, as my brother, who has first hand experience of biting me (and I have a first-hand scar from it), can tell you ;D) What about reminding at your brother the first law of every martial's art : never hurt anyone except for self-defense....? (here, I really hope it was him, I read somewhare, had took Karate moves...) If not, please don't laugh about me! And okay, deal: no bite, no kick and I add: no kill! (I already feel relieved!) I stop using "google traductor" to check my mistakes, so the "s" word..

Please help! I tried to post a new story on FFN and the only thing I could get is: An error has occurred while processing your request. If the problem persists, please alert site admin via support.fanfiction.net. All errors are logged for administrative and security purposes. Do you know what that's mean?

FFNet still won't let us upload new stories, but two new fics have popped up, the first since Tuesday, so there may be hope in the future (?) (Personally, I think all the MA shippers broke it!)

Lisa, if you don't mind having to reformat "by hand" you can export an old chapter of anything and just cut & past the new text over it...definitely works for adding a chapter & if FFN just doesn't want to upload into document mgr (which seems to be the problem) it ought to work for new stories in the same way... ...or if you already tried it & it didn't work... nevermind...

(Personally, I think all the MA shippers broke it!) I know it's not the right thread to do that.... I can't help but tell you how much I had "burst in laugh" at this! For the topic: Upload didn't work yet... and I didn't have ANY previous sotries to edit

Shy, or somebody, PLEASE teach me how to do that, preferably using step by step directions and very small words. I started to play around with it and was scared silly that I was deleting my previously posted story. It's not a new chapter, it's a new story. Can that be done? Help. Edited to say: Nevermind, I think I managed to outsmart BOT on my own, though I have no idea how...

The following message was posted yesterday on FF.net. May 27th 2007 -- Document Manager has received a major upgrade: Microsoft Office/Word 2007 (.docx) files are now fully supported by the site with formatting preserved. If you encounter a problem, please email/attach the file to support@fanfiction.com. Plain Text (.txt) files are now better supported. Before, some files would cause an error. Please note if you write in a language that is not English, we recommend you to avoid using plain text (.txt) files as they might not display properly after upload.
