Found the bigger pic at Spoilertv, I have to say if you painted Wagner's face and hair green in this pic he would be the Grinch.

am I the only that thinks Abby is going to make Tony forgive his father? Gah, she probably will and I'm certain if she does I'll want to smack her upside the head.

Gah, she probably will and I'm certain if she does I'll want to smack her upside the head. i like Abby but she can be a pain sometimes, i hope Tony does not forgive his father right away, maybe in season 8 or 9. somethings can't be forgiven easy or even at all.

I guess there’s a good likelihood it will play out like that and if they did it right I could even believe that she made an attempt… but on the other hand my idea of Abby is someone who’s very loyal and in a way protective. If she learnt that DiNozzo senior did something that justified Tony’s distance or if he continues to treat Tony disrespectfully, I would actually imagine her treating his father with antipathy from the beginning and very clearly taking Tony’s side. (Thinking of her attitude towards Ziva in the beginning… and there I thought it was over the top, especially since I could never see Abby and Kate being that close friends)

bigger pic of Robert Wagner with the cast This photo is amazing -- look how much MW & RW look alike!! I mean -- if you look across in this part of the photo -- from one to the other -- their brow line, the eyes, the nose & the mouth/smile, the hairline even -- they really do look an awful lot alike! They look much closer alike than do Harmon & his son, IMHO -- when his son was playing younger Gibbs, I kept looking for Harmon in his face and would see occasional flashes, but saw mostly Mindy his mom Pam. No idea how the show will be, but the two side by side here is worth it and is another nice nod to the casting folks! ;D

But can you see young Gibbs in him? Maybe I'm biased by not knowing who his mother is and how she looks like, but it worked for me. He had the determination and quiet energy, anger partly that I can very well see as part of Gibbs. I liked that they didn't just morph him into a younger looking version of his intimidating, boss-like present self (hm, that would work for Tony maybe?) but still had character traits that were similar. Like making him not talking much but in a different way than present Gibbs, appearing timid instead of very self-confident.

But can you see young Gibbs in him? I can't really -- I even thought his eyes were dark, but later saw photos of him in which his eyes looked as blue as his dad's -- funny how I missed that; did they show his eyes much? You'd think they would have done so, given they're such a part of elder Gibbs' image. How's this? ;D (ever stumble onto "Mork & Mindy," the old TV show that made Robin Williams a household name?) It didn't work for me yet, although I imagine it could. They seemed to just show him angry and sullen, with very brief explanation later from Jack that he was angry when his mom died... it seemed sort of unfocused. Your description made me see him as fitting more than the show did! Maybe it was just more rushed than I liked, but when they were showing him being involved in the fights with the other guys they never really gave us enough time with the story about why they were fighting, why he was so sullen, etc -- or maybe I just wasn't paying attention. I wasn't too crazy about this ep when I first saw it, but watched it again not long after the first time and liked it much more the second time, maybe when I knew what to expect. It might have been part of why Sean never was a strong 'young Gibbs' for me.
