This is the text of the letter that I sent to JC utilizing the comments of an past interview with Jessica and the comments of JC to Cinescape.
On another note to the new member TERWILLIGER who posted that Dark Angel is DEAD, we do not accept that premise and if that is how you feel than possibly you are posting on the wrong site.

As a loyal and devoted fan of the series Dark Angel and Jessica Alba in the role of Max Guevarra from the very beginning, I was and still am extremely disappointed to say the very least with the idiots who canceled it at Fox. I have written to you in the past, both as an individual and a member of the Campaign to Save Dark Angel to try to implore you to use every means at your disposal to continue in some form, this exceptional example of an a original and unique fictional story of an altruistic heroine that is not an adaptation of a comic book character.
I am angrier today when I consider the comments that Jessica made to Kevin Williamson of the Calgary Sun in April of 2002 and I quote " I was very disappointed with Dark Angel’’s creative direction in the 2001-2002 season, as the show introduced an ever-growing batch of [transgenic] [half-human monsters], thanks to new producer Rene Echevarria, who wasn’t the original creator of the show and his idea of the show was different from Jessica’’s and yours', and it would seem to me that considering her comments and her appearance on the Rosie O'Donnell show she was very keen on the continuation of the series. Then I read your interview in the March 2003 issue of Cinescape in which you put the blame where it squarely belongs and that is on the idiots at Fox.
Mr. Cameron this product of your genius which was viewed and enjoyed by 229.6 millions viewers in its’’ first season and a total of a total of 318.22 millions over the 2 seasons that the series was aired, has too much potential to allow it to die. You can’’t possibly allow these and I quote "the capricious decision-making of wankers in high command at a network level, who frankly are a bunch of fear-based decision makers that between them don’’t have a pair of balls in the entire group", and you went on to say and I quote "They had us on the schedule and decided to put on a different show which promptly tanked [Firefly]. We were sensitive to where they put us on in the week [Friday night]. If they put us back where we were [Tuesdays], we would have been fine. Creatively, though we had a great third season mapped out". Please don't allow Berman and Echevarria to hi-jack and destroy this excellent series, which is truly one of a kind.
Our group is still very much alive and active we are continuing our efforts to obtain a conclusion whether it is a mini-series, TV movies or ideally a third season and beyond to the series. At the moment we are targeting the independent Fox affiliates with both emails and snail mail to ensure they are fully aware of our desire to see the re-birth of Dark Angel.
And please don’t use the excuse that the cast and crew has disbanded and have gone on to other projects, I am quite sure that the main actors, ie Jessica Alba, Michael Weatherly and some of the other cast members can be persuaded to become involved in a new Dark Angel project, judging by some of their past comments in which they stated how much they enjoyed working with and for you. Further, please don’’t tell me and our group to read the Dark Angel’’s novels that are currently on the market, we want and need a visual conclusion so we can both enjoy the series and seeing Jessica continuing her role as Max in the pursuit of her life’s experiences.
Yours truly
