Very good season finale for Psych eeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwww! on Jules and the old man. Yep, congrats to the writers for continuing to keep the show fresh. The slow-mo scene where we first see 'the wrinkle' and then Seans 'great take but let's do it again' comment was a classic! After Jules and Sean skated off together in the previous ep I just knew that a 'wrinkle' was inevitable. Geez 'Cameron' is looking old! What are the chances of Charlie Sheen or Jennifer Grey doing a guest spot?

LOL yeah that was perfect, for a second I thought he was going to be as impressed with the entrance as everyone else, I should have never doubted. ;D You have more foresight than me, never saw it coming. I did like how Lassiter seemed to have a problem with it too, kinda big brotherish of him. LOL you confused me for a minute, wasn't the 'wrinkle' named Cameron? Anyways maybe Jennifer Grey but I think Sheen is like the highest paid actor on TV or close to it, might be out of Psychs Basic Cable budget. ;D Remember for their Star Trek cameo they went with Sulu not Shatner. ;D

I haven't watched the Mentalist - just seen the promos. I get the distinct impression that it's Psych without the humor! Grrrrrrr

Well, I half-watched it after Tony tonight, and you're both pretty much right, but it's also missing a sense of timing and was pretty devoid of any personality. ... but other than that ... it was

What Grrrrrrrrrrrrr's me about it, is the amount of publicity that the Mentalist is getting down here. While Channel 10 screened only a couple of (unadvertised) eps of Psych before it was yanked off the schedule to make way for football, they are advertising the Mentalist ad nauseum...oooh Simon Baker....oooh The Mentalist...oooooh Simon Baker...bla bla bla bla bla bla!
In short, Grrrrrrr

I think all the shows I regularly watch have returned for at least one episode. The Office premiere was great but it was an hour episode and even though it worked this time I hope they don't do a bunch of hour long eps like last year because those really started to suffer IMO. Entourage has been officially dropped from my rotation. Am pleased to see that My Name is Earl has recovered from a bad 3rd season, they tried to do some different things with it and it just didn't work, they have now gone back to a winning formula . The first two eps of House were good but not great for this show. I'd never thought I'd say this as a year and a half ago House was my all time favorite show, but god am I glad there getting a wake up call, its long over due for the damage they've done to it. I agree with Mr. Clark that this show isn't what it was but still think it's the best Drama on Network TV. I think they made a huge mistake when by keeping his original team around in smaller roles, if they wanted to make a change then they should have committed to it and made the change IMO. And the tryout eps for his new team were over the top to be sure but I think once he settled on his new team things have been good if a little routine. Life has been good with a nice mix good crime stories interesting characters and some comedic relief. This show often threatens to go over the top but some how manages not to. Also for cop show has an insane number of hot women The Chuck premiere was good though felt like maybe the were stuffing too much into one episode. Pushing Daisies has me a little worried , I liked the premiere but they are getting more and more into stuff with the Aunts and the waitress and those characters are fine as supporting characters but shouldn't be taking so much away from the three leads and the mysteries. The only new show I have tried this year has been Fringe and I really like the first few eps, very X files ish without seeming too much like a copy. But this last weeks ep has me worried that they are getting too far out there trying to be weird and unpredictable and getting away from the science/mystery. Oh well we shall see.

And the tryout eps for his new team were over the top to be sure but I think once he settled on his new team things have been good if a little routine. The thing that pissed me off about House wasn't so much that they had to get rid of the fellows, because that was always going to happen. But the way they went about it pissed me off. For starters they all got 'fired' on the show on there final episodes under there starting contracts meaning they went into off season negotiations in complete limbo (except for Omar Eps). Thats just Bush league if you ask me. Cameron and Foreman should have had a year left on his staff as fellowships are usually four years. All of that tho is secondary to the fact that the new characters they replaced them with were carbon copies of the characters there replacing. Thirteen is Cameron, Taub is Foreman, Kutner is Chase. Outside of Kutner, they arent as good as the originals anyway, I never liked Chase. I mean come on show some originality give us something new and different! But then again David Shore is proving to be anything but original. This season I will say I really like the Detective dude(which is another example of Mr. Shores ego, that while i hate, in this instances hes quite creative but I wont get into that), hes very well written and hes a brilliant foil for House. This is probably the thing I hate most about House is that no matter how bad it gets they wont let me hate the show completely, theres always that sliver of brilliance in amongst the stupidly transparent. Still the shows got away from what made it great which to me wasn't the medical mysteries but the misanthropic genius that was trying divest himself of all humanity but no matter how hard he tried it always popped up in brilliantly noble ways despite his being a complete not a very nice person. House is my favorite type of character, the anti-hero, and a brilliantly written one. Life has been good with a nice mix good crime stories interesting characters and some comedic relief. This show often threatens to go over the top but some how manages not to. Also for cop show has an insane number of hot women Life is a bit of a conundrum for me. I will for the rest of my days have beyond immense, just massive amounts of respect for Damien Lewis for his work on Band of Brothers. He was truly brilliant in that series, and I was so happy for him getting a network show. But I just can't get into Life, I want to like it but i just can't. For starters his American accent (you do know hes a Brit right?) worked great playing a character from the 1940's but here it just bugs me a bit. Plus his hole I've been in jail for 12 years and theres all this amazing new technology here thing bugs me. His character also just isn't that compelling or different from the standard fair of police procedurals, I don't know. Plus outside of CSI, I've never been able to get into any West Coast cop shows, must be an East Coast/West Coast thing. Ok, another thing is it just me or does Damien Lewis look like he could be Hugh Lauries ginger haired little brother? I have for years thought those two looked like they could be related but everyone else either A. doesnt know who Damien is or B. doesnt agree.

Best news of the day so far Fox is giving Tim Roth his own show! Only problem is that it pretty much tramples all over The Mentalist territory. I'm still very much on the fence about the Mentalist so despite its going over recently covered territory I'll give Roth the chance to prove whose the better lead. For anyone that could somehow forget Roth's two biggest credits would be for Reservoir Dogs and the Incredible Hulk. Press Realease/SummaryPromo photos

I'm still enjoying Chuck (how does that guy get to be AWOL from the Buy More so often?) and the 2nd series of Terminator is soooo much better than the 1st. The most recent ep with the different viewpoints of the same timeline was extremely well done. (Don't like the Shirley Manson character though)
