I would also like to say that for the record dzero's current avatar rocks, Yahtzee is awesome and you get major props for having the good sense to watch his stuff. Do I get to keep those props if I have no idea who he is and just grabed a cool looking avatar from someone on another site? probably not, huh? Oh how disappointing. He is an Australian video game critic who makes little web comics to articulate his reviews. There often obscene and quite humorous. Educate thy self

Really liked this weeks Psych. Am really enjoying how they are changing the formula up but still keeping it fun. I did too! ;D ;D And as much as I thought the mother-casting was a dud I liked whatisname as Uncle Jack... Just when I thought the writers had lost it...2 back to back brilliant episodes ( The Greatest Adventure in the History of Basic Cable and Disco Didn't Die. It Was Murdered!) Yes I know I'm waaaaay behind, but all of that Olympic nekkidness has kept me very busy!Dzero, why is it that I instantly thought of you when they referenced Idle Hands Too bad about the car, I was really hoping that Gus would get to keep it Was that the Love Boat's Isaac playing the 'Huggy Bear' character?

Just when I thought the writers had lost it...2 back to back brilliant episodes ( The Greatest Adventure in the History of Basic Cable and Disco Didn't Die. It Was Murdered!) We have such different tastes, thought the disco episode was ok but the High School reunion ep was 10 times better IMO. Guess I'm on my own with that oneBut agreed The Greatest Adventure in the History of Basic Cable was as good as any episode they have done. Even Shywriter appears to have liked it ;D. I have already rewatched it. Do they have "Basic Cable" in Australia? I imagine the call it something a little different. I lol'd at the title. Unfortunately no new ep this week. Damn US Open One more comment on The Greatest Adventure in the History of Basic Cable, when they were going around the town it was the first time on this series that the town actually looked a little like a California beach town. Not Santa Barbara exactly but more like the small beach resorts around Monterey/Carmel. Everything looked neat and clean yet old like it was from the 50's or 60's. How's that for some useful info for my fellow Psych fans in Australia and the Deep South? ;D You somehow magically knew that I had spent hours staring at those screen shots back in the day? Yeah that was him, surprised they didn't get the real Huggy, he is still around spends most of his time hanging out in Vegas Casinos. Or so I've heard. So Angelz, no comments on Mad Men must mean you haven't caught up yet or you surely would have commented on Don's interesting negotiating techniques with women . Hmmmmmm wonder if he would try that with a guy? ;D

I loved the High School reunion ep...except for the Mom bits. After the jaw dropping closing scene of S2, the whole Mom storyline ended up being a fizzer.
The actual case on the disco ep for so-so, but the car, the clothes and the dialogue etc definitely made up for any shortcomings that the storyline had, IMO.
I'll see if I can fit Mad Men onto my agenda tonight. WooHoo a 3 ep marathon!!! ;D

Sorry dzero, wasn't in the mood to watch Mad Men last night, but here's something that caught my eye.
After viewing the first six episodes of the second season of spy Comedy, Chuck, NBC execs ordered the full ”back 9″ episodes all but ensuring a full 22 week run for the show’s second season.
According to TV Week, this is unusual for a sophomore show where generally only 13 episodes get ordered early, and all the more impressive since an original airing of Chuck has not aired since January.
In a month or so, 8pm will be Josh Schwartz’s hour. The Schwartz produced Chuck will face off directly against the Schwartz produced…say it with me, Gossip Girl. I give the advantage to Chuck in that race, though both will ultimately face off against The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother on CBS, and Dancing With the Stars on ABC.
While the Schwartz vs. Schwartz “Gossip Girl vs. Chuck” makes an interesting story, the direct competition for Chuck should be our friends Summer Glau, Lena Headey and company on Fox with Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles though there is probably plenty of crossover audience for Chuck with The Big Bang Theory as well.

Gotta root for a fellow Rhode Islander there in Schwartz, its pretty impressive that he Produces and also gets writing credits on most every episode of both shows.

I been watching Flight of the Conchords. its funny in one episode they are making a music video with a cellphone that is something a New Zealander would do. Also when the guy is taking to his mother about America having more then 4 channels on TV, NZ does only have 4 channels but if you have SkyTV or Freeview you get more.

Watched the premiere of Fringe and thought it was very good. Very much in the tradition of the X files, anyone who liked that show should give it a try. Not perfect but a good start for the show. And yumm and the lead actress

Very good season finale for Psych eeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwww! on Jules and the old man. Well they had to add a new wrinkle to keep it interesting. Wrinkle get it? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Mad Men continues to be interesting, though no WOW moments lately. Just watched the first two episodes of the new season of Entourage..... I used to really enjoy this show but it seems more and more tired. Just the same thing over and over, if it doesn't get better fast I'll have to drop it.
