Poor Chuck is alone...again. Casey is da Man!!! Also enjoyed the latest Psych. Lassie's psych-out had me in stitches. ;D MrAZ and I have started our Wire DVD collection. We have S1 so far. Now all we need is some time to sit down and watch it. Please find the time soon as I'm starting to feel like the one nut job on a soap box in Hyde Park shouting 'the end is nigh'. I need some back up.

The general consensus across the interent is that the Wire is one of the best TV shows ever and I am not arguing with that at all I just can't seem to get into it. My loss edited because I don't know how to spell "nut"

On the other hand the season finale of Burn Notice turned out to be pretty damn cool.

I have to say I'm really getting into Human Target, I think you really have to treat it like a pulp sort of story, kind of Indiana Jones meets Jason Bourne. Mark Valley has a great dry sense of humor that plays well in the tense bits. This show also has my favorite opening credit of any show I've watched lately, Chucks is pretty good but I like the whole ink blot vibe of this one better though.

Mark Valley will always be the dude from Days of Our Lives to me! ** More Eureka news‘ Eureka‘ stars Colin Ferguson and Salli Richardson-Whitfield could barely contain themselves when teasing the Syfy series’ fourth season, premiering July 16.
“Something happens at the beginning of the season where everything shifts,” Ferguson told Fancast at Syfy’s upfront party Tuesday night. “It’s one of those things where you assume at the end of the episode, ‘Oh, it’s going to reverse itself’ – and it doesn’t.”
Asked whether the show is uncorking a “good” or a “bad” twist, Ferguson grew tight-lipped, saying, “It just goes different. It goes lateral. Everything changes. Not necessarily for the better or for the worse, but everything changes.”
“It’s ballsy, I’ll give them that,” he added.
There’s also this clue: New cast member James Callis (aka ‘Battlestar Galactica’s Gaius Baltar) apparently is behind the game-changer. “That’s his baggage,” Ferguson said of Callis’ Dr. Grant, a long-MIA Eureka native who returns to town most unexpectedly.
“He comes in with his own secrets,” said Richardson-Whitfield. “Is he a good guy, a bad guy? You don’t know.”
What we do know is that Grant is due to woo Allison. “He can try,” Ferguson challenged. Turning semi-serious, he touted the addition of Callis as “great,” noting, “It’s someone else for Salli to work off of. ”
“She’s bored of me,” he said with a wink to his castmate.
To keep things even more interesting for Jack and Alison, Ferguson and Richardson-Whitfield confirmed that Jamie Ray Newman will be back “for a couple episodes” as Dr. Tess Fontana (an encore made easier by the cancellation of ABC’s ‘Eastwick’). Also, viewers have not seen the last of Jack’s daughter Zoe, despite her apparent plans to head off to college at the close of Season 3.by Matt Webb Mitovich, fancast.com
** I like Sanctuary too. A funny little series. It had a slow start but the storylines and production values keep getting better and better. One of my favourite eps was when they had the '5'. Wish they'd stop killing people off though

Got to say I was disappointed in the season finale of Psych, it was just too unrealistic even for this show. Sad to see Abigail go Did you notice the DA alum from the 'Death is in the Air' ep? Took me a while to figure out where I new the actor from. The finale seemed a little rushed at the end. What's with the picture in the last scene?!?!

Thanks for the Eureka updates, AngelZ and... who was it, the other day, you or Mr Clark? (I'd also ask if it was Mr. TV, but we know he's not a Eureka fan, so...)We've been wondering around here if it was ever coming back as promised... but what about Henry? Joe Morton has a regular role on The Good Wife and grew his hair all back, conservative-style...

I just went through IMDB to see who you meant....I remember her from DA but even though that ep was a few weeks ago I don't remember her from Psych

It's from books by Elmore Leonard who is a wonderful writer. His characters are so well written. He is a gem.
I intend to buy this when, and if, it has a DVD release.

I've read all Elmore Leonard's work. Two novels and I think I remember a short story about the character Givins or Givens. ?
Leonard has written 10 or 12 Western stories and they are all excellent. He wrote Three Ten to Yuma, one of your fav movies dzero.
His crime novels are probably the best written work you could ever read. He's not my favorite, (my favorite being John Sandford, ) but Leonard is close to perfect. Lots of grittiness.
