Hmmmmm, shywriter isn't driving her car much right now - maybe she'll loan me her very cool red convertible for a while. ...but it's been so nice here lately I've just hauled it out, put the top down, and sat in the driveway... Spike, congrats on the ride. You might have seen me spout off before about Hondas, but between hubby & me, we've had nine (and that many only cos I put lots of commuting miles on mine quickly-- not cos they're undependable!) Hondas are the way to go. I never had a CRX (or... what letters did you get? I know the model you mean just can't remember how to 'spell' it! ) Whenever they get another Civic SI at the local place hubby is pouncing on it-- (he wants one like I have but is too tall to drive it-- so I don't even have to share! ;D) Enjoy!

shy, i've had two civic si's a 1991 and a 1993, both hatchbacks i loved them both , and i kinda miss them one got totaled by a van while it was parked in front of my house the other , i put many many miles on it
i'm sure your honda dealer would trip over them selves to get you into another si for a fee ofcorse

i'm sure your honda dealer would trip over them selves to get you into another si for a fee of corse Yeah, you'd think! The "fee" they want to get one here is for us to buy one, sight unseen & car undriven, & have them bring it here! I found a couple dealers within maybe 75 miles that have them, but hubby "isn't in that much of a hurry" so claims he's waiting til one shows up here. The truth? I think he doesn't want to part with the car he has; he loves that car -- a '96 with under 60K on it (we live close to the uni where he works) that's completely disreputable ... he knows it's only a matter of time but getting him to replace it is like getting a favorite blanket away from a toddler!

Well, I still have the same old boring four door car so I didn't drive last week when I went to Baltimore, Maryland with my brother to check out his new university. We stayed 3 nites in a fleabag hotel and checked out the nightlife, the waterfront and the hot spots. Visiting the East Coast is like going to a foreign country. In fact, it seems more foreign than many European countries I've been to. I mean that in a good way.Two strangers walk into a bar in Baltimore, The Fish Head Cantina, and people at the bar move over and invite us in. ;D Now I want to move there. While I was gone our membership went from 1,038 to 597. The last time that happened was in 2003 when a hacker took out about 3 thousand members. That was fun.

our membership?? Yup - our membership. Look at the bottom right of our home page Total Members: 597 Newest Member: Your Personal Messages Last week it was one thousand thirty-eight members and now it's 597. On a brighter note - I've found the top to my wedding cake. Yippee. That's make two items - I posted a pic of my wedding dress previously Here comes the bride. Not that I have a husband-to-be yet but it's good to be prepared. I'm a glass-half-full kinda girl.

He's starting Med. School in the late summer and I'm sure he'll be too dedicated to his studies to hang at bars, friendly or not. Isn't that far from your place? Except for New Orleans I think Baltimore is the friendliest place I've visited. Las Vegas is friendly, but it's a creepy friendly. I'm not sure if L.A. is friendly because I'm always out with friends and we just blend in. You could go to a different club/bar/restaurant every night of the year here in L.A. I'm out a lot because I don't cook. In fact I'm out the door right now.

Baltimore is quite a ways from me, i over stated it by saying a lot. I usually go to Baltimore once or twice a year. Its definetly one of my favorite cities. Altho it definitely has places you wouldn't want to get lost in. Your brothers not going to Hopkins med is he?

I'm going to explain very soon. But first - dzero - can you see the fire or the smoke from your place. My friends from Sierra Madre had to evacuate. Now the fire is heading toward Pasadena. My pics from the Malibu fire last year. These wild fires are very, very scary.
