Before we start talking about new stuff I want to remind spikeloud what was happening to him January 12th, 2003.
He was giving cooking lessons and being damn funny at the same time. Recently I told him he was very funny back in the day and he couldn't remember.
This is from the 1st Dark Angel Board.

I guess I'll continue posting in the new thread since the rest of you are out having too much fun. Evidently you would rather do it than write about it. On September 13th I left my cozy little home for the wilds of the East Coast of the U.S. I flew to Boston, looking out the window of the plane for Spikeloud driving his beer truck. Two days later I drove to NYC with a friend and did my Christmas shopping, and ate for four days. Flew to Florida, then to my favorite island in the Caribbean to sample seafood, mojitos, margaritas, and cabana boys.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, those are ugly feet. If my feet looked like that I'd cut 'em off. Oh please, Blue Lady, don't let those be dzero's girlfriends feet. This morning I swam out to the float and jumped in a little raft and fished and fished and fished. Caught a few little ones and threw them back. They were too cute to eat. I had to come back and tell dzero that they don't allow sharks here.

That is cool Michele. I love to get new computers. Vista is a good upgrade from XP and it was faster with a lot of programs. Firefox worked well with it and that's really important to me. Vista has much better security than XP. I used Vista on a new computer for about a month, just trying it out, but my external hardware didn't like it. My keyboard wouldn't work, not even when I downloaded a new driver. My external drives, I have 4, refused to cooperate so I gave up. I'm going to try Vista again when the second edition comes out next year. Most peeps don't have all the external junk I have to use for my business and wouldn't have the problems I had.

Vista has a great video maker - I think it is a vastly improved Movie Maker. Also much easier to make screen caps. It's been a couple of months since I used it but I remember some of the improvements.

There are a lot of nice features on Vista but like you, half of my old programs/devices were incompatible so it has been a long and weary road to get things working again (and I'm still not quite there). I also kind of miss not being able to use animated gifs on emails . Damn security upgrades take the fun out of everything.
