Chiklis Has A Thing For Puppet Master In eFantastic Four 3ΠOver the past six months, Jessica Alba has spoken to MTV News three times, each time insisting that super spawn Franklin Richards was her preferred choice for any gFantastic Four 3h storyline. But donft clink your glasses or hand out your cigars quite yet. Thing is, well, the Thing. Maybe somebody should have told Uncle Ben? gThatfs c interesting,h gF4h star Michael Chiklis said, a wry smile across his face when we recently told him of Albafs wishes. gShe never said that to me. I didnft know she felt that way.h It would be hard for him to know that, Chiklis confessed, considering he hasnft spoken to anyone involved with the film for quite some time. But, then, therefs something else at play here too. While Reed, Susan, Johnny and Ben don suits to become Marvelfs first family of crime fighting, sacrificing individual glory for the sake of the team, the actors who play them, of course, all want to be front and center when it comes to filming those stories. Get Franklin in there and Mrs. Fantastic is suddenly in there too. A lot. And for Chiklis? gFor selfish reasons, I would love to see Puppet Master happen, obviously,h he enthused, imagining the possibilities of a Ben Grimm-centered flick. gFor those of you who know what Ifm talking about, it would really tie in Aliciafs character and mine. Itfs a great story line for the Thing.h Is it ever. Able to control people using radioactive clay, the Puppet Master is a diabolical villain and occasional nemesis to the Fantastic Four c who just so happens to be the father of Thingfs blind girlfriend, Alicia Masters. But, either way, Chiklis is holding his breath, telling MTV News that hefs glad for the break from the blue spandex and is in no hurry to return. gIfm not gonna call the guys like, eHey, what are we doing?f h Chiklis said. gIfm kinda moving on and doing other stuff, which is great. [Another eFantastic Fourf movie] is sort of on backburner mode for a while.h Info from www.mtv.com

Fantastic Four Franchise Dead? I will be honest and say I never got the chance to watch any of the Fantastic Four movies. I was never much for the comic book and the word on the street was that none of the films were ever that good. However I am still gonna check them out eventually if its just to check out Jessica Alba in tight leather. At first it seemed like they may be doing a Fantastic Four 3. Both Jessica Alba and Michael Chiklis had offered up ideas for the next film. But Chris Evans who portrayed Johnny Storm has just put the brakes on all of that talk. The MTV Movie Blog caught up with the actor who told them, “I’m pretty sure we won’t do [another] one. I’m assuming that one is a closed book.” “After the first one was released we got wind of potential titles and plots [almost immediately], and I’ve heard nothing from anyone at Fox [yet],” he grumbled. “We had all planned on doing [another] one but if there were going to be a third I think a week after the second one was released we would have heard.” Now even though Fantastic Four 3 is an unlikely project he didn't turn down the possiblity of playing Johnny Storm once again. When asked if he would ever like to do a cameo in a film like Hulk, Spider-Man or Iron Man he responded, “Absolutely, If Johnny Storm wanted to make a pop in appearance in one of those movies that would be a treat.” Info from www.moviesonline.ca
