I thought that while there was some improvement in this sequel that this franchise just isn't one where I will be watching the movies again and again and I thought that too much time was spent on the wedding and I would've liked to have seen less about the wedding and Sue and Reed's relationship and more action instead. I liked The Thing and I felt that he didn't do much here.

That's probably the most positive thing you've ever written.

oh double snap. ;D ;D If I don't like a movie after 20 minutes - I walk out. Even though I'm lucky and get a lot of free passes I won't watch something I don't like. That doesn't happen often because I'm a "glass-half-full" kinda person, always looking at the bright side and often sickenly sweet. My friends would kick me to the curb if I was negative. I'm really looking forward to seeing this movie and I'm sure I'll like it. I like the characters a lot and the actors did a good job first time around. My sister and my pack of brothers have seen it twice and really liked it. If only I wasn't so #@%$ $%&^# busy.

Jessica Alba has five other movies coming out in the next year or so and this is the one that I wasn't looking forward to. I think that we all probably have some Jessica movies that we are looking more forward to than some of the others. I will be looking forward to seeing "The Eye" and "Sin City" in part because I think Jessica will be given more to do and more of a challenge than in this franchise.

I'm making a guess that poor Sue Storm has joined the group of female characters that consist of Asha, Kate, Director Shepard, Jeanne Benoit, (aka Dr Sweetie Pie) and Agent Michelle Lee. ;D ;D ;D

I know that female characters and their character development are not a strong point of any DPB series, so I am happy that we have Ziva and Abby and as for Agent Lee and The Director, I think we have way too many characters on NCIS before they are even mentioned and I think that the Tony/Jeanne relationship has been written poorly and I just didn't care for Tony as an example getting all upset and needy as far as Jeanne goes. I would've liked Asha better of the writers had used her in a way that she would use her background to help Eyes Only, but, it was very obvious that the writers only saw her as a love interest and that they tried to write Asha in relationship with alec, but, I just couldn't see her in a relationship with him either. I thought that Kate had a lot of potential as an agent, but, that the writers didn't use her background and previous training to help the team very much when the writers could have instead of focusing on mistakes that she made and Kate being a female in a male dominated profession. I think Sue Storm has potential, but, that she really hasn't been given much to do in this franchise.

The previous weekend's No. 1 movie, the 20th Century Fox sequel "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer," finished just behind "1408" with $20.15 million, raising its 10-day total to $97.6 million. Like last month's "Spider-Man," "Shrek" and "Pirates of the Caribbean" sequels that opened big then took huge drops in subsequent weekends, revenues for "Fantastic Four" fell a steep 65 percent in the movie's second weekend. 1.. "Evan Almighty," $32.1 million. 2. "1408," $20.175 million. 3. "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer," $20.15 million. 4. "Ocean's Thirteen," $11.3 million. 5. "Knocked Up," $10.6 million. Possible Space Spoiler Space for the third "Fantastic Four" movie.
Jessica Alba Sees Motherhood For ‘Fantastic Four 3’
They’ve beaten genius, metal dictators and the wielder of the power cosmic, disgruntled men who reside in the Earth’s inner core, and shape-shifting aliens from the planet Skrull. But how’s this for a stretch? The biggest challenge Mr. Fantastic and Co. will ever face isn’t a villain at all…but a kid?
It’s the kind of thing that might make you want to turn invisible.
But not Jessica Alba. Asked what she’d like to see in “Fantastic Four 3,” the sexy 26-year-old actress said she doesn’t want new powers or gadgets. She wants to be a mom.
“[I’d like to see] little Franklin running around,” she told MTV News.
The son of Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, Franklin Richards is one of the most powerful heroes in the “Marvel” galaxy, an Omega-Level mutant able to manipulate reality itself. Unlike most mutants, Franklin develops his powers early due to the cosmic radiation passed on from his parents.
An appearance from Franklin in the next “Fantastic Four” movie might be too much to hope for, given the fact that it would actually be positively awesome. In the original comic origin story, Franklin’s powers are released prematurely by the villain Annihilus, and when they become too much to control Mr. Fantastic chooses to put his son in a coma.
Because of Annihilus, the story would almost certainly take the foursome through the “Negative Zone,” a fictional, parallel dimension in the Marvel Universe. Or, perhaps, the story could focus on Nathaniel Richards, father to Reed and grandfather to Franklin, who kidnaps his grandson and raises him in the future in one memorable comic arc.

Jessica Alba has five other movies coming out in the next year or so and this is the one that I wasn't looking forward to. You don't know how lucky you are to even get to see a movie at the cinema. It's a rare treat for me. I won't be seeing this film on the big screen because it's been and gone. I only just managed to watch FF1 last night. Yes it's a cheesy comic book action film - but I enjoyed it for what it was. I'm looking forward to seeing FF2. When's the DVD out? and do we get to see lots of 'flame boy' nekkidness? ;D

Caught FF2 during the week and while I didn't enjoy it as much as the first one it was still a popcorn good time. It is what it is and I don't think it ever tried to be anything else.
