I thought Jenny as the Director should've acted much more professional than she did here and I think that since she's often undermined by Gibbs and others on the team that this is part of why she usually ends up in some way reinforcing that she's the Director, even if it comes across as awkward. I also thought that the scene where Tony walked in on the Director was awkwardly done. I would've thought that Ducky would've played a bigger role in this episode. I hope that next week Jenny is back in the background even though she had more of a pupose in this episode than she does normally, but, that it came across as flat. I also don't know why Jenny didn't just give Ziva and McGee a direct order, it did look odd for her to call Gibbs in that situation, but, I think that NCIS is a male dominated show where the writers like to reinforce that this is Gibbs's show and team even if it makes someone else look less competent in the process, jmo. I liked the begining with Gibbs, Ziva, and Tony.

I watched the episode this morning and enjoyed it. The only negative thing for me is too damn many major players. I'm the opposite of ML Fan. When I watch NCIS, or a movie, I look for the good things and try my best to ignore the bad. I swear to the Blue Lady that I could not watch NCIS if I didn't do that. I thought the opening segment, with the man running, black fan following, then he's desperately climbing the fence and two guys in black dragging him down, was so well done. What a surprise to find the two guys in black were the good guys and the running man the bad guy. I love when that happens. I try to ignore the story line and enjoy the characters. Tony, Ziva, Gibbs, Abby, Ducky were especially good in this. McGeek was thrown in to give him something to do. He's usually a filler. Truthfully I cannot remember one thing he did. I like The Shepard now, but I've liked her a little more each time I see her. Since Sir DPB gave up on the Gibbs/Shepard flashbacks she's been easier to take. It's funny how they showed Tony walking in on the bra mishap, then Jenny's breasts are emphasized in her other scenes. When a female character has to rely on her breasts entering the room so far ahead of the rest of her, she loses a lot of integrity. What the hell, I liked her anyway. This isn't real life and except for 4 or 5 episodes, it's been a fun show for me. As a Special Ops member said, "Was it just me or did everyone have to duck everytime the director swung those breasts around." ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Ducky had the best line with the " rigor v. rigor mortis" which of course I cannot remember. Lots of good Tony and a few good laughs is all it takes to make me happy. Simple things for simple peeps. I don't have any caps from Blowback but I just gotta post a few of our guy. And they are all lickable clickable.

I've actually liked NCIS more and more as it has gone on. I didn't care for this episode and I think that the writers have written Jenny inconsistently and I think Jenny is often undermined in her role as the director but the other regular characters, but, I think that it all simply comes back to the writers making sure that they reinforce that this show is male dominated/Mark Harmon's show. I think that we are lucky to have Ziva and Abby.

Thank God, I thought it was just me. I wasn't sure if I was watching NCIS or a one hour infomercial for a water bra!
Sidenote to Aerie: you should warn people to clean the dust off of their monitor screens before posting such (c)lickable photos.

I think what was said was "Arch Angel", not "Dark Angel."
