I don't think it would seem right for me to complain about his screen time when I know that fans of some of the other regular characters have it much worse as far as screen time and character development. Don't look at me. I didn't (and never have) complained about MW's "screen time." I complained about the show starting on a promising, logical and exciting course of character development for the previously Peter Panistic Tony DiNozzo, then dropping the ball. (And selfishly, being in the middle of a fic featuring a 49 year old team leader Tony DiNozzo, I liked the fact the show was proving me to be prescient.) Whether or not she was written well or poorly, developed or not, Kate's character never struck me as inconsistent. And since we can never get enough: Dr. Sweetiepie and Special Agent Sweet Cheeks... ;D

I just want to throw something out there...
First off, let me preface by stating that I just started NCIS a few weeks ago, I've only seen a couple, and Netflix isn't sending season 1 fast enough. I am no expert.
That being said: Does it bother anyone else that this "doctor" looks under 20? More specifically a vapid under-20-year-old underwear model? Does anyone else have a problem with this casting or is it just me?

(I think they've implied she's a pediatrician; maybe they start younger... ) I ain't buying it much either, but this is television land, where everyone is younger & prettier than in real life ...

Maybe it's just the vapid part that annoys me. She just seems so flat (personality wise, not chested). I'm kinda hoping that she gets killed off soon so they can replace her with a better love interest.

Hope it is just an act he puts on because of the covert operation that the director has him involved in. He sure does a good job making it look real.

I expected that storyline with Tony being shown as more confident and mature to be dropped as soon as Gibbs returned for good to NCIS, given how the writers made such a big deal out of the fact that NCIS is Gibbs's/Mark Harmon's show even when Gibbs wasn't working for NCIS. It was nice to see Michael Weatherly be able to show more range as an actor for a more extended period of time and a welcomed storyline for Michael Weatherly fans, but. I didn't think that it would last after Gibbs returned to NCIS for good and I've tried to accept that fact.
I think that Kate was someone who looked fine on paper, but, that this didn't come across on screen to me and I think that people expect a person male or female not to make as many rookie mistakes as she did after a person has worked for the President's security team and that the writers did not help her in focusing so much on her weaknesses and mistakes. I thought that her background wasn't used in a positive or constructive manner for the most part and that her previous work experience, training, and background were downplayed by the writers much more than the other regular characters to me.
