Wow! This one was so full of little gags and one-liners I had a continuous grin on my face for all of it. Loved Tony's contributions, while Zhiva's spunk gets better and better. Barely have any complaints (other than the perp's ID) and that hasn't happened in a looong while.

I totally had the same grin. Tony and Ziva are so entertaining, I wonder if that's going to last or if it's going to get excessive...Right now though, I'm totally loving it.
The perp...Hmm, yea... All I've gotta say is they're not that stupid, they really should have been able to come up with the answer a little faster. I kept saying, "Oh come on" as I was watching them. Didn't think she would off the nerdy guy though, that did surprise me.
I don't know how I'm going to feel about the new guy yet, can't Tony just go play more in her lab, we don't need anyone else.

Is the hitler wannabe going to appear in other eps, too?

Oooh maybe not, you just gave me hope. I'd just assumed he would be since the spoiler had said "Abbie gets a new assistant" so I assumed long-term. Maybe he'll get fired or quit in the next episode or even better off screen. That mustache is really weird. More annoying that Ziva's eyebrows, which took me a good two weeks to move past.

I still haven't watched the first four eps yet but 5 and 6 were great. shywriter assures me I will enjoy the first eps even more. The ep had lots of Tony, and the interaction between he and Ziva was really enjoyable. Ziva isn't beautiful or even pretty but there is something about her that is attractive. I like her accent and the thing she does using malapropisms is funny. This was my first sight of Jenny Shepard and she was okay but Gibbs behavior with her was really weird. Kind of smarmy and all squishy. I didn't mind the perp being a woman; I've come to expect it and feel disappointed when it's a man. ;D ;D

Trust me! 5 was a bit less wonderful than 1-4; I didn't get to see much of 6 yet (in & out of the room with the TV) but it's waiting on standby for full attention viewing this evening. What I saw looked great. (or, make that--I walked by the TV and Tony looked hot! ;D And on her arrival, it's clear that she is going to do just fine keeping Tony on his toes (how often do you see DiNozzo at a loss for words? ;D ) (and is it just me, or did they push back her widow's peak a tad from her first couple appearances? )

Sounds like we're all happy campers this week - with perhaps our only consistent niggle being Director Shepherd/Sheperd/Shlepherd/Shepperd/Shepard? (Incidentally, just exactly how do you spell her name? ) Aerie if Shepard's effect on Gibbs made you cringe in this ep, then you'd better full forward through all of her scenes in Kill Ari 1 & 2! Agreed. Too much of a good thing makes you fat! Everything in moderation please Sir Don! Although I think Abby's screentime has been shortened slightly this season (not a fact, just a hunch), I am happy that it appears that Ducky has been given more scope.

Is the hitler wannabe going to appear in other eps, too? That's the guy who used to play Bud's little brother on Jag. I don't know if he's going to stick around, but i liked him better on Jag.

I thought that this episode was too much of a rehash of how women or married women to be more exact are portrayed on NCIS. As far as Abby's new assistant, I think that he's unnecessary and I think we are already have two characters Jenny and Palmer for me, who haven't been given much to contribute to the story lines without adding a lab assistant. I have liked what the writers have done with Ziva because, she's been given the opportunity to fit in and be a contributing member of the team and while she's a woman working in a often male-dominated field, there isn't time wasted on the fact that she's a woman. I think that Ziva is pretty, but, it's subtle so far and it's not to the point where it's distracting and over-the-top and I like her interaction with Tony.

I keep reading "Jenny this" and "Jenny that" here and on the NCIS board and I keep wondering who the heck is Jenny??? It takes me a few seconds, every time, to connect the dots and realize it's the NCIS director everyone refers to by using her first name. I gotta wonder, isn't that weird? Especially since we only see her in her capacity as director and maybe old flame of Gibbs. There's nothing personal about her to make me see her as a "Jenny", like I do Abby or Tony. Imagine we referred to Gibbs as "Jethro this" and "Leroy that"... Urgh. As for the former director, I never caught his first name. weird. Ayways, I think it might be another instance of us viewers falling into DPB's trap and subconsciously adopting his view of women. So, let's call her Shepard (the official site doesn't mention her, so no idea about the spelling), please? Even though that makes me think of Atlantis and start drooling. What can I do, it's reflex already. Of course, it could also be that I've heard a few too many "Scully"s these days...

I've been wondering about the 'Jenny' thing too. I kind of get the idea that because she's a woman that she doesn't have to be respected. Gibbs would never have been so rude to the dude director. I'm sure that even if...if...if...what was his name(?) and Gibbs were best drinking buddies that Gibbs wouldn't have called him Joe or Bob or Alan on the job - it would have been by his title or Sir. I think its really out of character for Gibbs to act so familiar with Shepard while in the office.
And Scrita, if you say the word 'Shepard' and think of Atlantis every time 'Jen' walks on the screen, then that could only be a good thing!

The former director's name was Tom Morrow. Gibbs did call him Tom once (I think it was in Reveille)

Well, Gibbs is in a better mood than the last episode. Oh, the Honey Dust raises it's ugly head again. I'm with Ziva on the craft is crap. That could come from always having someone else's hand me downs as a kid though. I'd love to know what Ziva said to those kids.
Comparing the NCIS website to the Playboy channel was clever on Tony's part and easy for Gibbs to understand.
News Distributor/ Paper Boy: not a lot of difference.
Don't like the new assistant. DPB should stop employing family and get some real actors. There's too many wimpy guys. If we have to keep McGee, they need to get rid of Palmer and Chip. Bring back Gerald. Really do not like Abby's assistant. Too creepy, too geeky, too holier than thou and hate the mustoush.
Energizer Abby is a very fitting nickname for her.
Jenny doesn't bother me as she's not on screen long enough or in every episode. Gibbs should show her more respect instead of playing on their past episode.
That dog had good taste. Only an idiot would question Gibbs. McGee needs a kick in the butt. Good to see Tony coming through when McGee needed him to. It's so said that McGee was interesting in if Tony saw Scott Baio at the mall.
I'm adoring Season 3 Tony. A nice mixture of joking and sensible.
I like Ziva. It's good to see they toned down the phrase confusion a little.
