Please post your thoughts and commentary about "Red Cell" here. There are spoilers posted on NCIS Special Ops, if you're interested.

I enjoyed this episode much better than last week's. I hope that we see who that woman with McGee is. I didn't like the fact that Tony and Kate were going through McGee's things, it reminded me of Tony going through Kate's things as he has in the past, that got old to me quickly. I was glad to see Gibbs finally tell Tony and Kate to end their college talk. That reminded me a lot of when Kate in Season 1 would take what was originally a joke and take it too far and not know when to stop it. I enjoyed Abby's interaction with Tony and McGee this week, finding out that Abby and Tony both like "Fight Club" was funny, although not surprising considering that they've had some common likes and interests that were a bit strange before. I also liked the fight in the end because, in law enforcement a person is bound to have some difficult arrests once and awhile.

wonderful episode. everyone was fantastic. and so funny.
i thought tony and kate going thru mcgee's place was pretty funny. and kate was just as bad - if not worse than tony. "aawww! look tony. he eats dinasaur cereal" - or however she said it. so, while i've never had a problem with tony's going thru kate's stuff - now i REALLY don't have a problem with it. she deserves it. LOL
some of my favorite moments/lines:
tony: did you hear that, palmer? palmer: yeah. he sounded pretty mad. tony: no. called me his 'senior field agent'. classic tony.
also, the interrogation scene. loved the 'urkel' and 'matlock' references. mcgee: what kind of interrogation technique is that? gibbs: Dinozzo's. it ain't pretty... i couldn't catch the rest of what he said.
abby [and tony] and 'ballpeen hammer.' hilarious.
it struck me odd that we got to see mcgee's apt. not sure why, it just surprised me that they took us there. we've never seen tony's, have we? or abby's? we see gibbs' basement now and then, we saw kate's apt. in the ep with sherilynn fenn and we've seen ducky's place.
oh yeah, tony's line: george clooney couldn't get laid in this place. and then we see these long naked legs walking out of the bedroom. 'tim?' lol
one of the better eps of the season, i think.

Agreed! I gave it a 9/10 over at Special Ops. I think the ep was incredibly well balanced, with everyone getting some good screen/interaction/banter time. We got lots of smart Tony and grumpy Gibbs which is the way I like 'em. Probably could have done with a little less McGeek, but his screentime was justified given the 'work' he was doing.

I would put money on the girl in McGee's apartment being his sister. Loved Tony's dinosaur impression.
Tony's discription of Hell Week does explain a lot about him.
Jimmy Palmer should be attacked by a corpse. It's the only thing that would make him interesting. Really wished Gibbs had demostrated on him instead of Tony.
McGee is too pompus. Why is he even there? Abby can do everything he can. I live how Gibbs tells McGee to stop annoying Abby. And then Tony calling McGee, McGeek.
The Gargoyle who guards the door comment was clever.
A mix of playful and serious Tony in this episode and Kate was actually quite entertaining. Pauley and Michael work so well off of each other that I wish they had more scenes together.
Good see Gibbs delivering a few punches.

Me too. That's something that's seriously missing in S2. Damn McGee!
