i dont listen to music just becuase it is popular at the time *cough*eminem*cough* that is just sad and 'gay' - i like music that actually is good - has some actually truth and feeling behind the lyrics - not some crap that has just been put together to diss on someone else or to sound cool. eminem - he could be good - if hell freezes over and satan starts skating to work - and Scottish people support england at the world cup sorry just my view - no offence intended ;D ;D ;D ;D

Goo Goo Dolls (they have amazing lyrics - which is something i look for alot more than a tune) i just started liking the goo goo dolls after i heard 'here is gone' an awesome song. i had this weird thing of hating old singers ... notice the HAD ... but now groups like u2 r pretty good my mom loves soft rock and oldies so when i was younger all the radio stations i listened to were all the beatles and what not. and i used to sing along, and i have to admit they were ok then. pop is just BAD! it's the music only nice guys would listen to .. no offense korn and papa roach r good. aaf r funny and real hyper. don't really like classical, it's soo long and soo ... boring (no offense)

AHHAHAHA DAMN, i couldnt give a f*ck less how popular he is. you think all kids my age listen to eminem because hes "cool", because hes a "rebel", because he acts bad ass and is saying all this controversial stuff? even worse, you think I listen to eminem for those reasons? hah, nah sorry boo. you dont even know me. i listen to eminem because he is a talented lyricist and has one of the sickest deliveries ive heard from an emcee in a long time. the kids your talking about are the white kids in the burbs who listen to eminem because hes in style now...and theres nothing wrong with that...but thats not me. and OT-Gal, you obviously havent heard anything besides eminem's BAD music, such as "the real slim shady" and "my name is". before you make comments talking about crap lyrics that have no feeling, go listen to tracks like "hailie's song". just another typical comment from someone who just sits on the outside and judges.

eminem - he could be good - if hell freezes over and satan starts skating to work - and Scottish people support england at the world cup LOL! Dunno why, but that is funny ;D Music, music...... Just about anything but rap and most bubblegum pop. By genre: R&B I like any song with a good beat whose lyrics don't offend me. I do NOT want to hear anymore about how often someone got laid or whatever else they talk about. Like Paige said- lyrics with feeling Country First of all, it does NOT melt brains! The listeners would have to HAVE brains for that to happen But I love the lyrics and the talent behind NEW country. Not to be confused with Country and Western! Bands like Trick Pony (who have some hilarious songs out), Lonestar (of Amazed fame, but they're all really talented), the Wilkinsons (Tyler's hot! What? Hot, Candian, talented, what more do they need? ) and numerous others have some incredibe songs about family, love, and fun songs. Adam Gregory's (hot Canadian boy AGAIN! I'm obsessed) is so soulful that he can make you ache (shuddup! I warn you now) or just bring joy. Other really great male Country singers are Kevin Denney, Garth Brook's OLDER stuff, I'm drawing a blank of names now But there is a LOT of talent running the circuit. Females-again with the names-Jessica Andrews and Cyndi Thomson are both really talented. A whack of other too, but I'm forgetful and lazy Old Rock A bit of the old stuff- Aerosmith, my Boston song (I own it, I swear I do!), Kiss, Guns 'n Roses etc New Rock Googoo dolls (Iris had me hooked, Here is Gone is awesome), The Calling, Lifehouse, Creed, 5 For Fighting, Michelle Branch, Nickelback, Matchbox20 and a lot more Alternative/Emo Sum41, The Juliana Theory, Puddle of Mudd, Bush, and so on Classical/Jazz Not a big fan but I have a few classical CDs/ST with classical on it that I listen to fairly regualrly. I also like Diana Krall AS you can tell, I listen to a LOT of music, and I'm willing to try anything once. I don't dictate what others shoud lsiten to, I don't let them dictate mine. Lyrics are important to me, because I can't like a song with lyrics that go against my beliefs as a psychopathic humanitarian But I tend to forget names and songs easily. I always have music on, it's too quiet in my house without it, so I do get a lot of different types in

i love you - will you marry me lol
sorry but i love all of them but Alex Band(you can see he was just destined to start a band lol) from The Calling has decided to go for the stoopid hair look
if you like them i would recomend Nine Days and Third Eye Blind - they do similar music
Michelle Branch - wow goodbye to you goodbye to everything that i knew la la la but i also like Vanessa Carlton
my Dad has this theory that there is only one woman in america that sings all these songs and lets other people take credit for it , here is his list
Alanis Morisette Michelle Branch Vanessa Carlton Sheryl Crow
and suddenly my mind has gone blank
