I just realized, the third dark angel book is called Skin Game, probably referring to the runes on Max's skin. The cover has a picture of White and Mole, as well as Max. I think they're finishing up the loose ends with these books! This is there way of finishing the series...in books, not on TV. What do you guys think? Here is a picture of the cover: www.randomhouse.com/catalog/covers_450/0-345-45183-X.jpg [/img]

I dunno. It seems sort of strange. Didn't they announce three novels BEFORE the show was cancelled? Did they switch the entire plot idea to the third in order to give some sort of closure and junk the original idea? Or is this just some story that's supposed to take place during S2?? I wish they gave us more info on this stuff. I don't like them keeping us in the dark.

The cover has a picture of White and Mole, as well as Max. Are you sure that's Mole on the cover? It looks like the lizard guy from Bag 'Em. As for the book idea, I think it's great, but isn't it supposed to be a prequel? I know that's what the first book was. I already heard about the first book, but where will we be able to find these? Are they only going to be available off the internet or will we be able to get them in stores? All in all, I think it's a good idea. If there's no way we can get things truly wrapped up for us through TV, then a book would be my next choice. The only downside is you don't get to see the actors doing their stuff, which was my favorite thing about the show. I like being able to watch fight scenes because they can't really be accurately described in writing. Just one more thing. Does anyone know what the second book is called?

Sorry I don't know the lizard guy's name, it isnt mole then. The lizard guy was in Freak Nation. I hope they aren't finishing the series w/books, that would be really bad b/c as someone said b4, action in books just isnt the same as it is on TV. For the questions about the books, here are the answers: Book #1: Before the Dawn Book #2: The Eyes Only Dossier -it's like a behind the scenes guide to the show..i believe Book #3: Skin Game i got the picture from www.randomhouse.com, search for dark angel and you'll see it! no summary though!!! the summary should tell us if it's really typing up the series

I kinda doubt that the third book will be a "Finale", tv spin-off books rarely alter the central plot. I think it will it will be set during s2. At least I hope so , It wouldn't be the same.

I'll take whatever I can get to finish the story line. Books, tv movies, fan fiction , so be it. I am really looking forward to the books, though. Max A. Collins has written some books to go with movies (i.e. The Mummy, Mummy Returns, etc.). So, I think the books will be good as long as he keeps the people in character. The Eyes Only guide looks awesome! I can't wait!!
