Maybe we could also target like kawasaki. We can maybe also have a look who sponsered their clothes, and maybe bombard them with a load of letters. I think we should maybe start with the smaller companies, then move on to the bigger like Fox itself. We can easier win the smaller companies over than the bigger ones. If we got the smaller companies in our pockets, then we have a bit more "backup" to take on the big companies.

That is an excellent idea! How do we coordinate our efforts? Will Stargirl start the weekly news letters to tell us who to target and when?

One thing that needs to be remembered is that us o/s people need, depending on where everyone is, about 2 weeks allowance for snail mail postage! So we kinda need to know about 3 weeks in advance who to send the mail to.

Hi Tilter. The only thing is that if we are too aggressive and say exactly what we think of Vermin, we won't be taken seriously and any mail we send will be chucked out. As much as we'd all like to send her some hate mail, it won't help us achieve our goal. I can't wait for something to be organised and us to force the issue. So let's get something happening! ;D ;D

I SAW THIS ON DARKANGEL TV.COM the person got info from www.showdown.net/maybe its fake, who knows Dark Angel fans have a chance to show their support for the hit series which is no longer in production due to the poor decision of FOX broadcasting earlier this year. A mailing address has been setup to voice your opinion and help bring back the series. Please do not bash Fox, treat them with respect and maybe they will take our request to bring back the series seriously. Fox has already admitted failure this season with replacements like "Girls Club" which didn't even make it to a third episode before getting canceled. Tell Fox that a show like Dark Angel has the potential to be a franchise series similar to how popular X-Files was over its remarkable run. Bring Back DARK ANGEL c/o FOX Broadcasting Co. P.O. Box 900 Beverly Hills, CA 90213 I THINK ITS FOR REAL, i dont know, someone find out, i live in scotland but ill send a letter!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I just went and checked the link above out, and I suggest that you guys have a peek: www.showdown.net/newswire.htmlI'm not going to begin to speculate as to whether or not this is true, but all of the other entertainment news on the page is stuff that I've heard elsewhere (on the radio, etc.) so it would seems that this site is for-real. Does anybody know anything else about it?

I e-mailed the editor on showdown.net about the article and this is the responce I got.
The e-mail address it came from was SHOWDOWNis@aol.com
Even if this just some poor persons idea of a joke, can we really afford to NOT take this seriously? It looks somewhat legit and what do we have to lose but a little bit of time and maybe a few stamps? I know I'm gonna send out several letters on Monday and I'm gonna have several friends do it too.

I understand that Fox has cancelled Girls Club (Monday, 9PM) after just 2 episodes have aired (Gee, Fox programming seems to be tanking this season. I wonder why?).
This could be an opportunity for us to write and e-mail Fox execs to air Dark Angel reruns in that time slot, especially if those of us who have been boycotting Fox programming, promise to watch. It would be interesting to see what the ratings would be.
So, let's all gang up on Fox again!

This message Board needs to be cleaned up and organized. too many topics. Get rid of the old ones and lets get this campaign moving again. savedarkangel.org needs to be updated too.

Good point - I've cleaned out the old stuff.
Connie our webmaster at DAN took a bad fall last weekend and wasn't able to do any computer work( she is fine now) but I know she plans on updating the site.

One of the committee members was wondering if we could come up with something catchy to send out on behalf of DA to Cameron and others who we want to know that we are still around and supporting a continuation of the DA story.
Roswell did the Tabasco Sauce. Any ideas of something to send that might catch the media's fancy?
The little tiny bags of coffee that you can buy at the grocery store ( a couple of ounces) were mentioned since DA was set in Seattle, the coffee capital. What esle would be inexpensive to get and send that might be a hook for some pr for the campaign?
