Please your thoughts and commentary about "Twilight" here. There are spoilers posted NCIS Special Ops, if you're interested. "Twilight" is the last new episode of NCIS before the summer hiatus. NCIS is being preempted this week, but, I thought that I'd open this thread early since this episode will be the season finale.

What? Would anyone be here if they weren't. POSSIBLE SPOILER P O S S I B L E S P O I L E R There are so many spoilers about the finale and most are speculation. Guessing who will be killed or what one ep or other obscure character will be killed. DPB said it would be shocking and NCIS would lose one of it's agents. He also said he would not have a cliff hanger for the finale. His comment was that he has done that for JAG and he did not want to do it for NCIS. He has said the same for having the characters fall in love, or lust, with each other. "Been there, done that, and I'm not doing it again." If he did say those things he could change his mind. I don't think he'll kill any of the main characters - Tony, Gibbs, Kate, Abby or the Duck. It's open season on any of the others.

Thank you. Now all we need is for someone to post here as soon as they find out who dies.

ok, having watched the preview, I'm still sticking with McGee being the one to go. The scene on the rooftop you can see a man down. Tony is back up Gibbs and Kate has white jeans on throughout the preview and I doubt Ducky or Abby would be up on the roof with them in the first place.

I watched the preview again too and I still think that McGee is an obvious choice because he's the new guy, but, McGee being the character who dies just wouldn't shock me, it would be more shocking to me if Kate or Ducky died as examples opposed to McGee dying and I also think that teasers/previews can sometimes be misleading and sometimes that is likely done on purpose.

Ok, well apparently the reports on TV Tome are true. So there is you wish to be spoiled. Not terribly bothered by the person who dies because they were never a favourite anyway. But apparently there are a lot of upset people. Hope DPB is ready for the backlash

I'm pissed but I can't comment here until everyone has seen it. Heck, I haven't even watched the last one yet. SWAK or S.W.A.K. I decided to wait and watch them one right after the other.

I wasn't bothered by who died either because of the same reasons that english_rose mentioned. I think that out of the original characters that DPB had that people would probably be more upset if he had chosen someone else opposed to this character.

I gotta say I really didn't expect it to be that person. Probably should have, but I didn't. For once NCIS surprised me. I gotta also say the start of the show really had me worried though.

If they do replace any of the agents with Cassie I wouldn't mind as I really enjoyed her SWAK. However, saying that I don't feel that there is any point killing off one team member just to replace them with another. Didn't like it when DPB did that on JAG four times.
Despite that fact I would rather it had been McGee, I'm just relieved that it wasn't Tony. That's no comfort to Kate fans though.

I think it was just stupid run of the mill gimmick tv. There was no reason for it other than to try to create a controversy and up the ratings. Been there, done that a million times before.
The easy way out rather than coming up with something truly creative.
And if it turns out to be a dream as some are speculating, well I have visions of the worst "it was a dream" ever - Dallas. This would run it a very close second.

Thinking but to the season one finale, this fits in with the character of Ari. Remember he shot Marta the same way. (different gun)

As much as I wish it would be a dream that seems pretty doubtful since DPB said he wanted to deal with the loss and how it's effecting everyone next season (or whatever he said in those interviews). Hmmm maybe we can still have the loss, this ends up being a dream and McGee is the one who's really taken out. Okay now I just flashed back to Abby and Kate and Abby's naked Tony at the zoo dream. Hmm suddenly a little sadder about the loss of Kate, but honestly I was petrified at the start of the show. There was so much Tony, I was sure I was going to have my heart ripped out.
