Maybe we need a thread for the sickies. Both shy and I are sick now and poor spikeloud is worse and dzero might have a family member needing tender loving care. We will all heal I suppose. Well, the others will, I'm not sure about me yet. I want info from spikeloud. Did you get to see the cysts, or whatever, after the removal? Photos? I love that stuff.

(Careful with that tape, much harder to get off than the stitches in my experience ) And to keep on topic: It's kind of disgusting when you burn yourself and it smells like grilled meat. This is not why I became vegetarian.

I'm SO glad I read this during my weak tea and dry toast phase (not!!!) ~ ~ (okay, so I'm well on the mend, but I think that's caused a setback... ) Edited to add that of course I hope everyone is better and ow, Mari, was this new? and Spike, hope it's already all over and feeling much better... ...but still...

It's kind of disgusting when you burn yourself and it smells like grilled meat. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! its kinda what you did....grill meat. the other week, when the doctor took the 2 cysts out of my back, i was on a local, and i heard him cutting, just sawing away back there....it sounded like someone cutting a steak. yum and aerie, i did get to look at them when they were out, no photo though. the doc did say that he had to go a little "medievel" on them to make sure he got them all, cut deeper then i thought he would

Will keep myself from asking more details from Spikeloud or adding anything myself... Edited to add that of course I hope everyone is better and ow, Mari, was this new? and Spike, hope it's already all over and feeling much better... Yesterday and quite the harmless burn for the... effect. Maybe should just stay away from the oven, last time I seared a hole into a (new!) fleece jacket and burned my other arm.

Do we need to wrap you in heat-resistant bubble pack?

Sent my big baby off on a Japan homestay trip. It's just 2 weeks, but still... Like an exchange student? or staying with friends? When I was a little kid we had an exchange student from Australia stay with us for a summer. I learned first hand from her the horror that is vegemite.

Exchange student. 8 kids from her school are going to stay with families of their sister school in Japan. Pretty amazing for an 11 year old. And yes she took some YUMMY vegemite with her to share with her host family My baby is tired and homesick - which is odd because the usual Fri night routine would be running crazy trying to get her to basketball on time, coming home and being igored while she played Sims3

It's been 20 years since I went to Japan and I'm very keen to go again. Yes, but I have a feeling that this experience will put her limited Japanese to the test.
