The last thread was ready to snap - 18 pages!! (what happened to the people who used to clean that stuff up around here? ) What's happening in my life at this very moment: appreciating how much easier it is to get through a day-long continuing ed seminar when you're in a venue with free wireless and you have your laptop with you... ;D

i may need to get a new computer (again) ive tryed everything and its still locking up all the time. i want a mac this time....but the $$$ is kinda steep

Got a basic Macbook about four months ago (with the reasoning that if I buy something a bit better than my last discounter laptops it might hold for longer than two,three years ) and so far a completely positive experience . Getting used to Mac took about a week and it's fast (shuts down in under 5 seconds), more reliable than anything I've ever had (no freezing and shutdowns at all) and I love the multitouch trackpad. My hands so miss it during the day at my work laptop.

i looked at a macbook today.....it could happin
in other news, i go to the doctor to have two cycts removed from my back. should be no big deal, but i will get a week off of work so the stiches can heal more time to look at the macbook's and decide.........

;D In my defense I was about 3 feet away from my PC when it hit . Well "hit" isn't really the right word, barely felt it and wasn't sure it was an earthquake at first. It did seem to go on for a while and finally I figured it was a quake
