Have you seen "Power Down?" Tell us what you thought. There are discussions and spoilers also on our sister site NCIS Special Ops, if you're interested.

Really good ep IMO. Maybe the best of this season.

Really good ep IMO. Maybe the best of this season. Can't wait to see it!!! ( -- after a near-all-nighter the night before I sat down to watch it ... and fell asleep mid-DiNozzo! Oh, the shame of it all ... didn't think it was possible! )

I liked this episode a lot, not as much as the Halloween themed episode, but, a lot more than "Endgame" where I thought that overall the episode was flat and predictable. I liked seeing how the team adapted to not having any technology help them solve their case and how while it took longer to solve than it would've normally that the team did work well together and I liked Tony and McGee's fight over going though the victim's bank statements.

I was disappointed -- I had high expectations and they never quite met them, I guess. And honestly, no pun intended, but the energy of the show just wasn't what it usually is (I mean it -- no pun!) Mr. Shy had the same reaction. (but you can't really take Mr. Shy's word on any of it; he watches only for the Abs scenes... Not like me, watching just for the Tony scenes, which as we all know is an entirely different matter! ;D)

If you want to watch some "NCIS" where there was no energy, rewatch "Knockout" and "Angel Of Death", this episode was nowhere near as bad as I felt that those episodes were.

I was disappointed -- I had high expectations and they never quite met them, I guess. Me and my damn euphoric review LOL I already can't remember the Halloween episode But it's perfectly fitting -- NCIS engenders such widely disparate reactions and reviews, it's hard to believe people are talking about the same show! Since there are so many different aspects of the show and so many different ways current character (and relationship) development may go, I have a hunch that the varying reactions are a reflection of what and who each viewer likes and wants to see -- and their "review" becomes a score for how close the episode came to their preferences. But that's all a "duh!" sort of analysis, isn't it? Only said all that to say it wouldn't be NCIS if there wasn't a range of reactions, from gushing to grumpy. Besides, you *are* Mr. TV -- so the writers must be beside themselves that you were so pleased! ;D

I know you didn't like those 2 eps, but I actually liked them (not all time faves, but liked them for what they were.) Just another indication of what I said to dzero, there are so many ways to approach the show that it has to color one's opinion of the show.

I think "Angel Of Death" needed a better name than the one it has, there was lots of Tony, which is okay for some people, but, nothing really happened and it was the season finale which makes it standout and I think that it is realistic to expect more out of a season finale. I would've liked the episode more if it weren't the season finale. With "Knockout", I was bored much more than I expected to be and I felt that this episode wasn't "NCIS" but, it had "NCIS's" name on it.
