Challenge Time! New thread too, just so that we don't break the back of the Challenge Thread...Remember this from last fall? All you have to do is write a story in one hour. This year's goal? To plaster the "Just In" DA page with Max & Logan fic!! ;D We've hauled it out again on BBWW, and challenge everyone to come up with a story to post this coming Sunday. Just as we posted last year:DAYLIGHT SAVINGS CHALLENGE!Okay, people, most of us in the US get back that hour they stole from us last spring, when we switched to daylight savings time. This weekend, when we "fall back" to standard time, we get it back. (NB: This year, we're trailing behind the rest of the world... But you folks who have already changed-- you know you have that hour waiting to be used! ) Don't waste that hour sleeping or cleaning closets! Write some M/L fic! The challenge: Write an S1 M/L fic in an hour. That's it. Any sort, any characters, any length or style... Just tell us it was done in an hour and we'll believe you. Don't ask if thinking is allowed outside an hour, with only writing counting toward the time, 'cos how we gonna know? Don't ask if there can be adjustments for slower typists, cos... how we gonna know you didn't? If it's not posted til later in the week but you 'promise' that that was your free hour you used... who's gonna tell us any different? This is just for fun, peeps, a fast & cheesy way to solicit some more M/L fic. Anyone game? ;D (for further discussion you can see the FFN forum, Blah Blah Woof Woof, in the Challenges thread)

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS CHALLENGE!Thanks to the M/L addicts out there, 7 of the 13 most recent DA stories posted on FFN are M/L! (another is undecided, and another ... er ... beyond description! ) It's been so sadly quiet in M/L DA over the past months, it's good to see we have a nice little crew of die-hards, and the good news is that we have some new readers & reviewers. Thanks to everyone who participated, and if you haven't read & reviewed yet, doing so will help M/L continue. In a recent BBWW discussion of how to keep DA going, several writers came on to add their thoughts about what makes them keep their stories updated. Everyone mentioned that reviews make a huge difference, giving them a lift and fueling the interest in keeping the chapters coming. So you can make a difference, and help keep new DA fic coming. Go visit FFN and show the writers some love! ~ ~

Figured I'd pop by to do my part to try and explain away at least part of the sudden dry spell all over fanfic land. I can't speak for sure about the whole of the DA fandom, but myself and loads of other people are pecking away at NaNoWriMo. ( www.nanowrimo.org/). The goal is to write a 50,000 word novel in a month. SO, for all you guys panicking over the lack of ML, if you take the time to look, there's a lack of EVERYTHING right now. It'll be back in December.
