Sorry folks, I can't give you more than that lil shortie. A certain challenge (I think I can hear something tinker here) absorbs all my energy and I want to finish it today... Maybe later.
And can somebody bring Max and Logan in the same room??? Please??
off to write...

You guys have no idea how tempted I was to write that the only antibiotic that could cure Zack was stockpiled in Portugal and it would take at least three more days to ship it to Seattle...but I resisted! ;D
I think maybe it has come to the point in the story where we should come up with some very loose goals about where we're heading...what do you all think?

My only request at this point is that the bacterial infection which has taken over Zack, and now threatens Max, is determined to be a specific bacterium targeted to those with ... er ... noteworthy lips... I guess that would make the others immune, wouldn't it? ;D

HA! So it's a genetic disease targeted only to the x-5s that have excessive duck or orangutan in their cocktail, huh?

I did have a virus idea, but can’t find a way to make it work so far. I think it still could work out without much planning at this point, seems possible that we get Max and Logan into the same room, as Lisa wished, without it. Maybe somebody could put in something to specify how exactly Manticore went down, so that we know what to expect from that corner…?

I'll leave the answer to Bling's question to someone with more technical knowledge than me.

You see, Mari - if you ask for a response requiring technological knowledge, we all shut up and back away. You should have said that the next response should require the ability to B.S. really well. We can all do that! ;D

Me not wanting to screw up the story one way ends with me screwing it up in another. Yeah, I can see the irony here. ;D So... what do we do now? (Took me about 5 minutes to figure out what B. S. could mean but I think I may have found out :

I'm sure I read something somewhere about Reds being disabled with a mini-pulse; Sebastian could probably knock one up no problem, if anyone wants to go for that. I just had to drop in an extra cliff; let's see what you guys can come up with to resolve it...

Yep ... it's fun. ;D (but poor Logan) About the mini-pulse: I think the (wonderful) writers of the Virtual Third Season had the Reds disabled with a mini-pulse. Don't know for sure, but it's a great idea, no matter who invented it .

Welcome home, Blue! Now Zack can wake up from his coma and purse his lips some more.

Welcome home, Blue! Now Zack can wake up from his coma and purse his lips some more. Do you suppose his lips wake up first-- or last? it would seem that it would have to be one or the other; no middle ground. (Wednesday night NCIS reran "Probie" <extra bonus, I guess > and Zack, aka bad guy, was on, being all pissed off in the first scene. You know exactly how he looked being pissed, too. I couldn't stop snickering.)

Lisa, in thanks for starting this story and in celebration of memorial Day weekend-- an infinitive was split in your honor! ;D

Yea!! One more infinitive sacrificed! (One day I will destroy them all.)
Happy Memorial Day!
