Ahhhh so much tv news to catch up on! Been avoiding keyboards due to carpel tunnel syndrome & tendinitis in my hands - boring story!
So how'd you like Mad Men in the end? Did you finally manage to see more Game of Thrones? Been watching Arrow - and i Iike it!

I'm only about half way through the season but so far, so good.
Good evil dudes, nice shirtless moments and mostly good plots. My only gripe (if I have to have one) is that the actor that plays Oliver occasionally appears a bit wooden - a bit like Hymie the robot. It's probably all those muscles making it hard to move his neck and shoulders!

Mad Men, seems like this season compared to the previous years so many of the choices the characters made seemed random and then were kind of forgotten about, like what was the point of all that I don't like the idea of that new partner going to California, he made a good counterpoint to Don. Really thought Don should have been the one to go to California but how would they have continued the show then? And I'm not in the advertising biz but really? A company with about half a dozen partners lets one of their two creative partners move across country for just one account? I buy them jumping through hoops for General Motors but for Carnation? I did really like Don showing his kids where he grew up. The scene with Don talking to the Hershey execs was brilliant. I put my money on the Show ending with Don quiting the firm and moving to California

Did you finally manage to see more Game of Thrones? Been watching Arrow - and i Iike it! I haven't seen anymore Game of Thrones but I did see Season 1 of the Newsroom and enjoyed it. Watched about 5 minutes of the Arrow pilot, didn't get into it but it was a great looking show

Now that it is over have to say I really bummed there will be no more Goodwin Games. The show was so clever and sweet and off beat - to think of all the junk on the air and they only give this 7 eps? ? I guess it's been awhile since a show I liked was cancelled so soon maybe that's why this bugged me, not used to it anymore. Almost everything I watch is on cable so they will show at least a complete season. And now with Goodwin Games off there are no more new comedies for the rest of the summer Wilfred has fallen off a cliff creatively in it's third season. Almost impossible to get through the eps, in fact I haven't gotten through the last couple. Speaking of Australian comedies I want to say again how much I enjoyed the first season off Legit. Hilarious show full of profane crude humor but also at times genuinely moving. The season finale really hit me like a ton of bricks. Drama Have been watching The Bridge, pretty good so far, nothing great but promising. Loved loved loved Hannibal really kinda shocked that some of it made it onto TV ( censors and all that ) If you have liked any of the movies you need to watch the show and you'll love it

I think I enjoyed this season if MM because I was glad to finally see Don fail and get caught. It's kind of bugged me for a while that every bad thing he does the audience cheers. agreed but admit it, it's fun to watch Don do bad things More than anything Pete letting the guy off when he found out he had a false identity just smelled like Bushll!t. I don't care what happened between him and Don years ago I just don't believe this reaction. True. I guess Pete thought he could control Bob Benson - how wrong he was!

I scare easily so I need my horror served with a lot of humor and some corn (True Blood). I've heard that Hannibal is quite gruesome. I haven't seen any if the movies either.

It doesn't work but the google search it offers does thoughts during the clip, I miss House, House jumping off the hotel balcony that one time would have been the best ending IMO.

But he didn't seem in control he seemed just freaked out by the whole thing. And Benson was a nobody at the firm whereas when Don got found out he was already The Man. The whole thing just didn't make sense, not that they need to spell everything out but this was murky and out of character ( for Pete ) we need a reason to accept such an out of character move.
