Glad to hear you liked it too (I wasn't sure if it was just the over indulgence of wine that put the smile on my face) I wonder if they will address the total improbability of Ziva qualifying to become a fully fledged Agent or simply skip over that giant roll of red tape? (Yes I know that there is also no such think as a Mossad liaison)

I really enjoyed the interaction with the team in this episode and have enjoyed Tony and McGee working together this season, the dog scenes and the mug shots were priceless. ;D I think it has been interesting to see how Ziva has grown to trust her team and how she wants Gibbs' approval. I liked the Abby/McGee scene where they are talking over each other and think that "You're Not Listening to Me" would be a great thread title for the over at the shipper threads. I also think that Tony had way too much fun watching the interrogation that Gibbs did and the Ben Franklin bit made me smile as well.

i'm enjoying the DiNozzo/Mcgee team too hope the keep it up. the relationship between those two seems to have changed just a tiny little bit, Tony still teases him and jokes around but sees him more as an equal now? or something? whatever it is it's the highlight of the new season for me

I was not a big fan of McGee from the start but now I'm turning into one. the part when Tony told McGee to hop in the coffin for a split second it looked like McGee was considering it.

I got the idea in 7.01, when Tony was describing his "partner" and they showed him taking down the big perp w/ McGee, they bonded more since it was just the two of them with Gibbs on the team. Really like that part of things. I liked this ep and I also liked 7.02 better after a re-watching (or two ) once I got it through my head how they were going to ease Ziva back into the team. I have more of the feeling that this is basically a 4 parter (or more?) so am really anxious to see wha they do next week to bring Ziva back into the fold for real.

I dunno why I worry about real life now, since the show takes such liberties ... but the (real) NCIS website says you have to be a US citizen to be a special agent -- tho' can be naturalized. (Oh, c'mon, let's have her marry Tony just for the citizenship! Very silly fic potential, the guys could each pitch to her why each would be the better candidate... Or with our ever-evolving legal system ... she could marry Abs!
