Maybe we will have oceanfront properties here in Arizona.. ;D ;D When I saw this online, it was with the caption "Arizona Bay" No damage here from the earthquake but it was by far the longest lasting quake I have been through. Long enough for to go from thinking "hey cool it's an earthquake heh heh" to "uh oh, it's still going"

Long enough for to go from thinking "hey cool it's an earthquake heh heh" to "uh oh, it's still going" I was in one earthquake. Let me tell you, it was not a pleasant experience. I told my husband that I wanted to move out of CA immediately. Glad to hear you are OK. Watch out for the aftershocks.

Didn't Lex Luthor try to do that in one of the Superman movies?

That was a real shaker. I was in Riverside, a city about 25 miles from the epicenter, in a client's office. Everybody was real cool, like dzero, and got back to work after about five minutes. Since I'm out here for three days I'm staying at a hotel because it's cheaper than gas to drive back and forth. I hope there's no big aftershocks because I'm on the 6th floor. I'm going to Bullhead City, Arizona this weekend for a little river fun. I guess I'll be checking out my future ocean front property.

The time is right, riverfront property in Bullhead City will be a good investment for the future if the 'BIG' one ever hits. ;D

Would much rather have to deal with a few seconds of shaking than a whole season of Hurricanes every year. Those seem much more disruptive to your life.

The worst it gets here is hurricanes or the occasional blizzard. I love Blozzards because i love snow and when everyones stuck inside its just an excuse to take the day off. Hurricanes are the only thing that kinda suck but usually by the time they get here there pretty weak anyway. Only time in my life Hurricane ever got real bad was Bob and that was like '91 or '92.

i've been kinda sittin on this one till i had a better idea how it was going to turn out
ok , here goes... last sunday night my cousens daughter was shot twice my her soon to be ex husband....seems he was a wacko he shot her twice , once in the face and once in the back with a handgun using hollow point bullets , the doctors say the bullet in the face hit her jaw and thats what saved her life they also say she should be able to walk again and that they can rebuild her jaw..her tongue is pretty f###ed up too it'll be a long a very sucky road but she should make a prety full recovery they had kids so that sucks too
her soon to be ex than turned the gun on himself and blew the back of his skull out..so he's dead now
shes been in critical condition untill today
