strippers if you are sitting next to a stage, tip each girl at least a $1-2. If you are paying for lap dances, no need to tip, but an add-on for good dances is a nice gesture. To lap dance or not to lap dance? A big thank you for the helpful advice. I've read some basic guidelines on tipping published by the tourism dept, but I knew that an insiders guide would give me the nitty gritty. Looks like I have a lot of reading and note taking to do. How do you guys remember it all?

I had a test today. I was prepared. I was motivated. ;D We got the questions. I had absolutely no idea. I left the room without having written a single word. Ok, now that was the short form of my horrifying day. ;)The long version would include that the test wasn't important at all. There will be another one in June, so that's not the problem. ::)The problem is that I have no clue what the professor wanted. Absolutely no idea. (And I wasn't the only one!). After two hours of research and having asked more than 7 other students (from a fellow second term to a girl that already passed the State Exam), I STILL HAVE NO IDEA!!! And we'll get the results of our paper in an hour. If I have failed that too, my mother's going to kill me. The good part of the day is that another professor asked me if I wanted to translate at a Constitutional Law Conference. ;D off to bite my nails and call my mom

This is exactly what the law students here are complaining about again and again… Must be a quirk of law profs? (Had this only once, last semester, with the prof (who had been absent for more than half of the lessons anyway) holding endless monologues and we looking at each other and wondering what in the world she could be talking about ) But congratulations for the translation-job! Will you be travelling for it, maybe even abroad? ;D Hm, I guess there are some advantages of my parents being utterly disinterested in everything concerning uni (as long as I finish as fast as possible), they would have no idea if I failed something…. I could kick the prof’s butt for you , I need to train several kick-versions for the Karate exams anyway… ;D

Went to the concert last night cause they post poned it due to the heavy rain and weather we had on Sunday but the concert was awesome and a blast!! ;D The band Red opened up and they were alright, better than the opening band my friend and I saw when we went to see Saliva last year, atleast we could understand them this time ;D Then Puddle Of Mudd came on and performed and they were much better than Red but they were ok. Then Breaking Benjamin came on and just rocked the joint!! They were awesome and my friend and I both agreed that they were the best out of all the bands. I just wanted to hear 2 other songs from them, Forget It and Next To Nothing, but they didn't play them but they were awesome and that made it all worth while. They weren't the headliners as it was Three Days Grace and they took the stage last and I'm not into them too much, I might like 2 songs out of their 2 albums but that's it. I mainly went to see Breaking Benjamin and it seemed a lot of people did as well as after they played, a lot of people left before Three Days Grace came on. Three Days Grace was pretty good live...better than just hearing them on a CD, but I still don't like them. Some rain started falling during their performance but it moved out by the end of their performance and we left when they started their last song which was "I Hate Everything About You". All in all, it was worth the $23.00 to see Breaking Benjamin play...They were just totally awesome!!

OK, guys; I'm pretty sure I've told some of you this already but I'm leaving tomorrow morning for a four week geology field trip. In a youth hostel, without internet. So, I'm going to be MIA for at least that long. I'll try not to fall down a cliff and break anything this time, though...

Actually there were two sonic booms, the second immediately after the first. That's because of the long length of the shuttle. You don't have to remember this, it will not be on the test. dzero, it was boooooomier than you said. Even though I was expecting it I almost fell off the sofa. Atlantis Lands in California shywriterI envy you that shy, I don't know why I've put off going since Katrina. Have a great time with all that music and food.
