Speaking of driving I wonder when dzero is going to be coming home from Las Vegas. He's been gone long enough to lose all his money. Or I could have won millions of dollars! ;D But neither of those two things happened . I did bring back more cash than I took however, and that puts me ahead of most people .

I was playing the game of life the other day with my boo and I'm starting to think I have a really crappy life ahead of me. I wonder if me losing drastically in that game could be a warning to where my life is leading. I took the none university route like I have chosen in real life and I ending up having to get out loads of credit cards that I couldn't pay back and retired with no money. Then when we played a second time and went to uni I ending up loaded.....its trying to tell me something I just know it. Specially with how my life is going now,... I will be that little pink peg on the board game.
Geez how depressing is that

It is all ahead, and you can jump in and steer where you want to go! No need for one big jump, just take some baby steps for what life you'd like. Can you make a list of all your dreams, pick a couple and decide what it takes to get you there?

I was playing the game of life the other day with my boo and I'm starting to think I have a really crappy life ahead of me. In German there’s the saying that if you have luck in games, you’ll be unhappy with love and vice versa… Besides, as an opposite example, I was really good in playing Monopoly as a kid and so far it hasn’t brought me a fortune at all.

At the moment I'm suck in a rut and im just angry all the time....angry at myself for not gong to uni and now I have a really rubbish job, angry cause the only thing in my life at the moment that makes me happy is my boo and i hardly get to see him anymore, angry cause so many ppl have it so much easier than me, I could go on and on.....and making something happen for myself is a long way down the road. Life sucks! Why does everything have to be so hard?
I wish I could just go back to the fantasy world I was living in b4.
I'd really like to believe your first comment Mari and maybe it is true in a way for me.
Thanks for the pep talk guys.
God how I lied when I said I was too happy to be writing and that I only write when I'm depressed cause I'm so depressed....and in denile

To X318:
You can’t be so hard on yourself. You’ve got to remember you’re still young, your storyline hasn’t been written yet. Shy’s right. Baby steps. I was just giving this lecture to my friend about her sister, who also feels she just stuck in this rut she’ll never be able to escape from. You also can’t be angry at yourself. If you’re angry at yourself then you’ll sabotage yourself from making changes for the better. Also ask yourself what would have happened if you’d gone straight off to college? You’d like to think you would have been successful and all would have been great, but think about your personality then. Would you have really strived like you should have? Or would you be here instead talking about how much money you wasted, your screwed up GPA (that would be your average grades, if you have different initials), all the classes you should have gone to, tests and papers you should have prepared for more. Maybe the time off was a good thing because you’ll know what you want, know what you really need to do and will be aware of how much is at stake once you start school. And since you’re never seeing the significant other, spend that normally bored miserable time checking out things that would make you happy in the long run. Your local universities, online programs (you and online seem like a match made in heaven ), sit down figure out a budget for how you’d swing it… That whole long boring schpeel of crapola. It sucks big time, but at least you’ll be proactive in your misery and it’ll lead to something better in the end. Question to the rest of you:Ummm so why isn't she writing?? Random Statement (that does not belong here):I am completely and utterly jealous of Germany's holidays at this point. They already had like 5 Christmas holidays and now another straight out drinking holiday, so soon after New Years? UNFAIR!!!

X318Maybe you can see your current job as a possibility to save a bit of money while searching for other options ? This way it’s just preparing for what you would like to do more… Mia:So your plane-trip went well? (I can understand your aversion against a mode of transportation, I get travel-sick and headachy every time I enter a bus) I am completely and utterly jealous of Germany's holidays at this point. They already had like 5 Christmas holidays and now another straight out drinking holiday, so soon after New Years? UNFAIR!!! To make you even more envious: Carnival is rather holidays, usually from Thursday to Wednesday (when a witch is burned) than only one single holiday. No partying for me this year though, need to finish my very last paper in the next two weeks . The downside of it is that everything closes: shops (sensible thing to do of them), my dojo, schools and – most annoying – for the processions they close the one and only street in the valley in which I live . So one better has enough food in the house and doesn’t plan on doing anything outside except for watching the procession. Having a car (or rather exhaust pipe) breakdown shortly before they close the street is a bad idea too.

My fortune cookie from lunch. Maybe you can live on the moon in next century That's it. Complete with smiley faces. First off it's lame. Secondly, the "next century" has me worried , are they predicting for a hundred years from now? Or did I just eat a seven year old fortune cookie?
