This will be a limited thread because there is probably only two of us that will be moaning and groaning about it. After the convenience of FireFox I could never go back to IE (Sorry Bill) I do use IE for MS updates, but that's it. Yeah, I know, we could use PMs but maybe a member smarter than me and dzero will come along. Maybe. ;D herumor - are you listening? ;D I don't want to go back to the previous FireFox (I already forgot the #) but this one is great except for a few little things. Little, but important. There might be add-ons but I'm not sure where to look. Several things. 1. The old one checked the spelling as I posted. I don't go back and make corrections with spelling or grammar because that's part of the fun of posting. Not important. But when FF pointed out the typos it was easy to correct. 2. FF isn't coordinating with Photobucket. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. dzero, have you managed that pain in the patookus yet. There's more.

It's still finding all my typos as is type them. Not what your talking about as far as the photobucket thing but if its really not doing whatever it did I'm sure someone will or has made an add on.

2. FF isn't coordinating with Photobucket. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. dzero, have you managed that pain in the patookus yet. If it's the same thing we talked about the other day then it's not FF related because I am using IE. And no, still doing it just learned to live with it. The Bucket has been making little changes like this frequently so I'm hopefull it will change back. I can't think of a reason why they are doing it this way though, I can't think of what it is supposed to accomplish or how it is supposed to be easier. It's just stupid. grrrrrrrrrgh! I had gotten all used to it and then Aerie goes and makes me made again.

dzeroWhat? I thought you used FireFox. How could I have been so wrong? Well I'm glad to know the truth because I'm sticking with Photobucket. It's tons better than some of those others. The one that wave uses is really good but sooooo slow to load. My antivirus hates ImageVenue and it's a pain to mess with it. But the new Bookmarks thingie is slower but it's efficient. The spelling thing has to be FireFox. I better get on the Mozilla message board and find out what's happening. Or in my case - what's not happening.

What exactly is your issue with firefox and photobucket? because I've used the two together for over 4 years without incident.
If your desperate for another site to use I'd go with ImageShack that's what I use for higher res stuff because Photobucket gets touchy about huge images.

I don't care about high res stuff. I've got a pack of brothers who take care of my photos from my camera. I found out Photobucket made the changes and it has nothing to do with the browser. When I can get the links to appear and it will let me click on the link - it doesn't copy correctly and it pastes something else. It's so annoying I don't even know how to explain it. dzero - have you conquered the bucket problem. The last time Photobucket made major changes I had to edit a few censored words on this site.

we might be having different problems When I go onto my bucket page I don't see the different options to "select" or "delete" for each picture automatically like I used to. I have to highlight each individual pic first with my mouse/pointer and this makes the options appear for that individual pic. Having to do this when posting multiple pics is annoying and I don't understand why they would have changed it . I am not however having any problems with the links themselves like Aerie is describing.

Why don't you use FF? its a million times better than IE! As for Aerie I've absolutely no idea what shes on about.

In the past when I installed the newest version of FireFox I had to uninstall all the old versions first. Yes, I had to in order for the new versions to work correctly.
I barely knew what I was going on about - but I clicked on the 'Link Options' and clicked on 'always' and now everything is fine. ;D

Gah my patience is wearing thin, this latest build of firefox is proving to be a very big pain in the ass. FF somehow went from being the most stable browser around to one of the least stable browsers around. I'm not sure how this happened or why but I really really really wish they'd fix it quick because I'm seriously loosing patience.

I've been a FF user since its early days and wondered if I should try the new one... I may just hang back, watch you help them get the bugs out and wait for you to sound the all clear! (really-- thanks! My computer skills aren't good enough that I recognize problem programs vs my own lack of ability/understanding -- I would have assumed it was user failure )

I thought it was just me at first but I've talked to some friends who have confirmed that the new build is nowhere near as stable as it used to be.

Yes, I had to uninstall it and get back to 3.02, as most of the add-ons i use have no support yet...and I don't think they'll came any time soon. I could get over that, but when I discovered that the plug in for the flash player clashed with the audio...I can't go on without my daily fix of YouTube

By whatever automatic update I have 3.05 (or so it says) and it freezes at least once day, usually more. Still faster than Internet Explorer, though. Together with the 2002 version of Word (anyone else still using that and feeling blackmailed to buy an update? ) and an inexplicably wonky internet connection my laptop needs more patience than I have.
