Help solve Murder 2.0 -Oct 28
cbs.com/primetime/ncis/victor/ go to the website above to look at clues... it's to late for victim no1.
This Tuesday at 8pm/ET - in a special Helloween-themed outing titled "Murder 2.0" -- the NCIS team will be put on the trail of a seriously sick serial killer who plants inside(!) each victim a link to a website which offers clues about his next attack.
Although it ultimately will be up to Gibbs & co. to visit and analyze each URL (which serve up video spliced with fleeting images/clues pointing at the place, time and method of murder), the NCIS faithful are being given an opportuntiy to deduce the who, when, how and where of the perp's very first kill by logging onto his/her very first URL, Primitus-victor.com
While there is nothing you can do to save this first victim. there's something to be said for cracking the first code. Viewers will find out if they guessed right when the hit CBS Series' Oct 28. episode opens.

The warning at Special Ops is not because members might read the spoilers it's because the NCIS folks at Paramount have warned us not to post anything that has not been released by CBS.

Mr ClarkMicheleThe warning at Special Ops is not because members might read the spoilers it's because the NCIS folks at Paramount have warned us not to post anything that has not been released by CBS. I can understand the casting call sheets and what not but the stuff that leaks through places like spoilertv theres not really much they can do about those so I don't understand why we need to stop with those. What legal action could CBS take if we were discussing unsubstantiated spoilers from other sources? And if they cant take action why are we worry about what they ask? I don't mean to be a dick about it but I don't understand why we owe it to CBS to not talk about stuff like that if were not breaking any laws, and if they can't keep stuff a secret thats on them not us. However I'm a bit of an anti-authoritarian so Viva La Revolucion!

I'm not sure what CBS or Paramount would do to Special Ops, but I do know that most of the tv news sites took the producers request very seriously. The main source of unauthorised spoilers currently around seem to be leaked via team-ncis. The spoilers that are appearing on SpoilerTV have been spread by that site. At the core of the problem is that the information isn't just 'leaked', it's considered stolen because everyone that has access to that information has signed a confidentiality agreement. While I'm all for 'sticking it to the man' when the need calls, it isn't my name listed as the board owner and I respect the decision to abide by the CBS/Paramount appeal and the personal request made to the Special Ops Mods by the NCIS script editor.

If a spoiler is leaked as the result of an NDA then the person who broke there NDA is responsible right? not the schmuck whose reading whatever they leaked. I'm not blaming the people running SpecialOps so much as the NCIS people who post on the board and have apparently caused this bruhaha. I'm a member of a very large fan community for the British car show Top Gear and as a fan of Top Gear in America the only way I can really watch the show in a timely manner is to illegally download the show. This fan community is very open about allowing fans to download the show by less then legal means and the shows producers know about this. But in exchange for the fans loyalty, feedback and community resources (they've asked for help from car experts in the community as well as for help with marketing promotions) they turn a blind eye to illegal pirating and don't tell the legal department. I know its a hole different country, company and what not but that level of grace on the part of the producers is something I think should be shown by more of there counterparts. I'd almost go so far as to say, if I were running SpecialOps which I'm clearly not, that If that person from the production/writting staff can't just be grateful that shes getting whatever feedback and support from the fan community that she is then I'd rather they just asked her to leave the community or make it a private community or something. I'm pretty sure his/her job isn't to run around policing the internet CBS hires legal departments to do that.
