The last DVD I watched was Hard Eight. Written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson (Boogie Nights). Cool movie Always thought the casting of John C. Reilly in the lead was a little weird though , he was about 10 years too old for that character IMO. The character seemed like a guy in his 20's not 30's. I forget if they actually mention his age in the film? Don't know why I was always hung up by that . Anyways I haven't seen it since it came out, I'll have to rewatch. I recommend skipping another Anderson movie though, Punch Drunk Love has the single worst musical score in the history of movies. I couldn't even pay attention to the movie because of those damn drums just going and going and going.

From 1987 We've been watching them from Netflix - just started Season 3 [the end] With Catherine gone the magic was gone. Also watching Remington Steele [season 3 also] and Season 3 of Lost. [noticing a trend here ]

Watching M*A*S*H season 11 episode Goodbye, Farewell and Amen.
I'm a fan of the older shows. Also I agree with Michael Weatherly's sister M*A*S*H and NCIS are abit alike.

That didn't occur to me watching the film, but it is a good point. He would have been around 33 when he made the film (or at least when it was released). I liked Punch Drunk Love...but then I don't recall the score.
