Agreed it was confusing as to why Rivkin wasn't at least arrested on suspicion of murder. Maybe they'll explain it in the next episode.
I'll give the writers a break on that one. Tony said that he went to the apartment to talk to Ziva - he didn't initially go there to confront Mossad-Man. I guess one thing lead to another and then...snap!
I'm finding that I'm enjoying the episodes a lot more because I don't watch the promos and skim the spoilers with only one eye open.

I guess one thing lead to another and then...snap! Yeah but before that he follows Ziva to the coffee place and when she leaves he sidles up to Rifkin. I don't watch the promos or read the internet spoilers either, in fact I thought last weeks ep was the season finale ;D.

Its kind of funny because my once passionate interest in this show has waned significantly over the course of this season. The last three eps have been disappointing for me. Don't like the spin off characters at all and just plot wise there are huge holes in logic that bug the hell out of me regarding this Michael Rifkin guy. Terrorists or not the guy assassinates a bunch of people in LA and they just tell him to leave? Tony goes to confront the badass mosad assassin and doesn't take back up? I know I know it's just a tv show but I find these things hard to swallow in the terrorism related eps. I have mentioned this before but I much prefer the straight forward crime stories. The writing in these eps seems more inventive and the characters more interesting. If NCIS was just the terrorism eps I wouldn't be watching. I didn't like the NCIS spin-off episodes at all because it seemed like two completely different storylines that didn't intersect well on-screen and I wasn't impressed at all with NCIS spin-off cast other than Chris O'Donnell's character. The Season wasn't great to me, but, I certainly think it was a lot better than Season Four of "NCIS" where the only episode that I liked and would watch again was "Cover Story."

Yeah but before that he follows Ziva to the coffee place and when she leaves he sidles up to Rifkin. Public place?
