See anything that looks appealing to you, other than the 6th season of NCIS. Doll House sounds good, but it's not scheduled until early 2009. The show follows an organization that employs mind-wiped DNA-altered humans known as Dolls who are implanted with false memories and skills for various missions and tasks.
When they are not 'at work' they are living in a real life Dollhouse which gives the show the name. One of those mind-wiped humans, a young woman named Echo, is slowly starting to become aware of herself and what's going on - all the while somebody on the outside is trying to bring the Dollhouse down while getting closer to Echo - possibly not aware that she is one of the Dolls he is after.************* Fringe debuts in August and sounds interesting to me. When an international flight lands at Boston's Logan Airport and the passengers and crew have all died grisly deaths, a female FBI Special Agent is called in to investigate.
After her partner is nearly killed during the investigation, she desperately searches for someone to help. This sounds like an X-Files crossover with Threshold, two series I liked a lot. There aren't any new ideas anyway so I don't care if they are cloned plots. These are shows that I'll record the first three eps and if I like them I'll plan on buying the DVDs. That is IF the shows last for more than 3 eps. None of the networks stick to any new series if they don't get instant ratings. Anyone else have any expectations for the new season.

Just found a site with previews for the majority of the falls new shows, which is HEREI will say that rather surprisingly, or not a bunch of the new shows remind me a lot of recent series's. Fringe looks like Lost meets the X-Files. Harpers Island looks a lot like Lost, all i could think about while watching the Harpers Island previews was 'And then there were none' by Agatha Christie. The Mentalist and Eleventh Hour look rather House-ish, that being said there two of the ones im curious about. I like the fact that someone finally decided to give Jay Mohr a sit-com. Also there seem to be a lot of Mike Judge styled animated series's on tap which i could really care less about.

Just found a site with previews for the majority of the falls new shows, which is HEREThanks for the link . Last year had more new shows that I liked than any other I can remember and most are coming back so I am looking forward to them. Chuck, Life and Pushing Daisies. having said that.. Doll House sounds good, but it's not scheduled until early 2009. Fringe debuts in August and sounds interesting to me. ......Dollhouse stars 'Helo' so I might have to show my support and give it a try ( though the 'acting' by Eliza whatever her name is in that preview clip was kinda painful : . I did like the dialog in the Fringe clip and that actress has a sexy voice .

I will say that rather surprisingly, or not, a bunch of the new shows remind me a lot of recent series's. So what. There's nothing new and if it fills the need - - - - - - I haven't watched many TV series and the ones I have watched were SciFi, so I'm immediately attracted to a synopsis of shows like Doll House and Fringe When Threshold, a good SciFi series, was on CBS a few years ago they scheduled it on Friday night after Ghost Whisperer. After 4 eps they moved it to Wednesday for 2 eps, then to Thursday. I lost it somewhere there because my TIVO hated me. Anyhow, I got all 13 eps on DVD the next year and that made me happy. ;D CBS is never going to stick with a SciFi type series so why bother. DO NOT call The Breast Whisperer SciFi because it is some fantasy ghost crap. Apologies to all who love that show, it's just my crappy opinionHe had a sit-com in 1999, Action. It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. All 13 episodes are edgy, vulgar and way to controversial for network TV. ( not for the prudish) The DVD has the eps that were never shown on Fox. NCIS is the only popular series I've ever watched. I shy away from anything that's the-IN-thing to watch. X-Files doesn't count because it was not even in the top 20 for several years.
