Have you seen "Trojan Horse?" Tell us what you thought. There are spoilers ppsted on NCIS Special Ops, if you're interested. This is one of the last new episodes of NCIS's fourth season.

I stayed home tonight, which I rarely do on Tuesday, because there is a terrible fire in Los Angeles and it's too scary and smoky to go out.
Finally I saw an episode on the night it aired. I just finished the recording and while I didn't love it, I liked it.
Good old cranky Gibbs, capable Abby doing what she does on her own, Tony so good looking, even though he didn't have that much to do, and Ziva being all tough, and she gave Tony a very poignant look.
All in all a fair episode. I liked it better than Cover Story, which is my lowest rated ep this season. To be honest I don't remember them that well, except for what Tony is wearing, or doing, or saying.

Continued in TWO WEEKS? GRRR.
And not just because I'm waiting impatiently and clinging on to the edge of my seat, but beacuse I really, really want to see something bad happen to Jeanne. And quick.
The look Ziva gave Tony when he was on the phone? Somethings definitely going on...

A good solid ep with lots of yummy Tony, grumpy Gibbs, rambling Ducky, giddy Abby and just the right amount of Ziva.
While it was a solid ep, I was disappointed that it wasn't more 'edge of your seat' considering that it was the second last ep for the season. The 'big picture' stories of this season have dragged on for too long and I want some explosive closure.

One of the funniest things about this ep, "Trojan Horse" was an Ops Center member who was disappointed in the episode. The episode title led her to believe the story would be about equine condoms.

Given that this was the episode before the season finale, I would've hoped that there would be more resolution as far as some of the season long storylines. I liked seeing Gibbs in the role of acting director, it was funny and in character. I think that there have been fanfics with better storylines than this Frog storyline and that it just reinforced to me how inconsistently the director has been written, maybe if the writers had taken the time in the beginning to give her backbone and make her believable including in her motivation to get the perp. this Frog storyline would be better off and more bearable to watch.

With a series like NCIS you really can't watch it with high expectation. You have to be happy if the characters you like have some good scenes, and not pay too much attention to the rest of it. I'm signing up for the positive approach made famous all over the world by that wise Aussie sage, AngelZ. A good solid ep with lots of yummy Tony, grumpy Gibbs, rambling Ducky, giddy Abby and just the right amount of Ziva. It's the only way to stay sane and watch the #^%$*@^$*&% thing.

Or they could just get rid of the director ;D. Nice simple solution .
