Evidently, with scurrilous family members ripping me off. No I don't, but if you'll wait you can see the short version when The Ten is playing around town starring Jessica Alba. ;D ;D ;D Yes, now that you ask scurrilous was the word of the day on my calendar.

Jessica Alba on top of her game Jessica Alba has been slowly crawling up the Hollywood power list over the past few years, but 2007 looks like it's going to be her year. The actress has no less than six films coming out this year - the first of which is Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in which she plays the part of Sue Storm, the invisible woman with a force-field. After the comic book adaptation is released, Alba is set to appear on screen in horror film The Eye, three comedies - Good Luck Chuck, Bill, and The Ten, plus another thriller titled Awake. Earlier this year, she topped FHM's poll as being the sexiest woman on the planet. Alba often appears in men's magazines - but the actress said it is strictly for movie promotion. She added: "I do men's magazines to promote movies. Women's magazines don't have as many polls. The polls seem to get publicity for the magazine. So when you are in the public eye and when you are in films, they just sort of keep putting you on it and it's very flattering." Info from www.itv.com

The actress is of Mexican descent and she made her opinions known on the American immigration debate. She said: "There's no denying that it's something that needs to be solved. There needs to be a mutual, beneficial agreement. "We're not going anywhere and I think we need think of ourselves as being part of a global world rather than America living in it's own little bubble. The world just doesn't function like that anymore." Jessica plays the Invisible Woman in the film and stars alongside Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis and Julian McMahon. She added: "I'm so proud to be where I'm from and I think that there's nothing better than to represent that in American film where we can go all over the world, globally and we can transcend stereotypes."

The 26-year-old actress is currently dating filmmaker Cash Warren, and has let slip some of the hurdles he had to overcome to win her heart. She says, "Anyone in a relationship with me has to learn that I'm not going to be around all the time. "I like a guy to be in touch with his feelings. He's also got to be able to hand out with my dad." Info from www.contactmusic.com

From today's New York Post. July 1, 2007 -- AT the opening of Harry Morton's Pink Taco restaurant in Los Angeles' Century City Mall Thursday night, Jessica Alba closed off the ladies' room so she could use the facilities in privacy, Web site Eater LA reports. "Some guy comes out and tells the long line that the 'bathroom will close for 10 minutes,' " the site says. "All for Jessica Alba, who apparently can't pee with the plebes." Other guests included Kevin Connolly, Brett Ratner and Amy Smart. Here's the link, www.nypost.com/seven/07012007/gossip/pagesix/private_relief_pagesix_.htmThis isn't the first time I've heard about a young celebrity making this type of request, so why Jessica's being singled out here is odd to me.

Anything that requires you need the bathroom alone for ten minutes is something you should go home and do. And yes I did say that. And quite truthfully if I was somewhere that a celeb closed down the bathroom for ten minutes when I was on line, I'd probably boycott them for the rest of my days. It was an opening, so that meant a lot of booze...Girls wait to the last minute, wait on long lines...Hell I'd complain to everyone I encountered for quite some time afterwards and considering it was an opening I'm sure there were plenty of chances to share it with the media, so I don't know why you're surprised by this, girls start complaining if a girl's peeing 30 seconds longer than they think she should be. Girls are evil when it comes to bathrooms, it's as simple as that. Physiology and idiotic city ordinances make us this way.

And: (yes, a rant about it all being a man's fault! )Not only that, but add in the hassle of the large percent of public places that are still the result of *male* architects and designers who are used to being able to waltz up to a public trough on the wall, no muss no fuss, and no extra time dealing with doors and locks and all the stuff to hang on a tiny little hook, and don't have to think about sharing the two stalls they've alloted for the hordes of women needing to GO... Yeah, I confess, I rolled my eyes too that JA has become that *IMPORTANT.* I don't care how many celebrities barrier off a restroom or airport or whatever, making movies just ain't a big enough deal that hundreds of people ought to be inconvenienced when the celeb has gas. I'm with you, Mia. (and probably have been with you in some long restroom line somewhere.,.. )

Well, first of all I have to say that just because it's out there on the internet doesn't make it true . But if it is true then yes she does deserve to get called out on her poor behavior.

Usually the places where celebrities hang out have separate celebrity restrooms. They don't want their personal "sounds" recorded and they don't want their picture taken going into the "stall." ;D I never believe any of that stuff and really try not to read it.. And I don't consider it news. The most important thing is if this article had been written about Michael Weatherly we wouldn't allow it to be posted. The same courtesy should be extended to Jessica Alba. DAR is a place where we don't have to read negative little blurbs or look at unattractive pics of our Dark Angel actors. My Dark Angel world is a happy one. ;D A little later - One of our many guests, who seem to be partying without us, sent me this pic. This isn't the thread for photos but I thought it belonged here. It's a clickie.

VERSAILLES, France -- The Paris haute couture shows kicked off Monday with French label Christian Dior holding a celebrity-studded catwalk show and party at the royal chateau of Versailles to celebrate its 60th anniversary.
Hollywood stars including Charlize Theron, Kate Hudson and Jessica Alba joined guests at the 300-year-old orangery of the castle that was home to France's Sun King, Louis XIV.
"It's amazing, it's like a dream come true," a dazed Alba told The Associated Press. "I can't even believe the grounds and this castle. It's extraordinary."

There is a brief interview/appearance with Jessica Alba at the christian Dior Fashion Show from July 3, 2007 and also a paparazzi video from Jessica's visit to New York now posted on Maestro's site, here's the link, www.tv-community.de/video-und-audio-files-t2298,start,200.html Looks Aren't Everything, Boys Good news for geeky guys everywhere: Jessica Alba, recently voted sexiest woman in the world, says she's more interested in intelligence than looks. The stunning actress, who starred alongside Bruce Willis in hit movie Sin City, said she's just as into stimulating conversations as sex. And she said "pretty-boy" actors are not her idea of the ideal man, nor cocky, self-obsessed men. She said: "I don't really have a type. Kindness, intelligence, a sense of humour - that's kind of it for me. I don't really care that much about the physical. I see all the pretty boys I want when I'm working. You can be stimulated in different ways. After a few years, the physical turns into something else anyway, it's not the most important thing. I'd much rather have a great conversation with someone. I like most people. The only time when I'm put off is if I see someone mistreating other people. Or if you're a complete narcissist, then it's hard to love you." But she's no prude, adding she doesn't think there's anything wrong with one-night stands. She said: "A lot of women I know don't necessarily want to spend the morning with the guys they meet, so they keep it moving." Along with her looks, money and acting ability, Jessica showed she's modest and selfless too. She said: "I've never been that impressed with myself. I really don't think about any of that. It's a trap for actors to think they're the centre of the universe. I just want to be a good person and try to help people. Most things in my life are pretty humbling." Speaking to GQ magazine Jessica, 26, said she had wanted to be an actress since she was 11, when she imagined helping abused single mums when she was older. And that feminist streak hasn't disappeared, it seems, with Jessica complaining: "Why don't women have a magazine where men show their thingyes?"Unfortunately for guys everywhere, however, Jessica ruled out any chances of stripping off in a film. She said: "Nudity's not a big deal to me. I don't want to [go naked in a movie] but that doesn't mean I don't want to see other people." Jessica, currently dating assistant director Cash Warren, also described getting engaged when she was 18, to the displeasure of her parents. She said: "I was a virgin. He was 12 years older than me, I thought he knew better. It lasted four years. My parents weren't happy. They're really religious." The August edition of GQ hits the shelves on July 5. Info from EW.com - Jessica Alba loves... LCD Soundsystem. "They just know how to do great music, great lyrics, great everything. Not many rock n' roll bands are that talented. And I'm going to start to read some Philip Roth. American Pastoral, I started last night. It's pretty dense.
