Welcome to the boards. I am Lelu and I am your mod for character discussion. I am friendly as a pup as they say in Texas. I welcome free and interesting discussion. If you have any problems notify me.

Any character is welcome to be discussed from Max to the extra that was by the fruit stand in episode 3.*

* The exceptions to this are the characters of alec and White. Unfortunately, people have used so-called discussions of them to try to start trouble with the Regular members here. Therefore alec and White threads will be closed. If regular DAR members are interested in such threads they can PM me and I will be happy to dicsuss this with them. Star

If you don't like a character great, tell us why. Dislike is ok. The characters are fair game not the actors who play them.

My brain moves faster than my fingers, but it's all good. So if you see this: runsktyes. It means something, I think

This is the welcome thread. We are glad to have you here. This isn't the best place to start a discussion though. Find a thread and post. Or start a thread, remember that many threads are spoiler free. Make sure you don't post spoilers there.

I'm just learning my way around.   But I feel the need to tell everybody just how great I felt Michael Weatherly did with his portrayal of Logan in Hello, Goodbye.  His scenes were terrific.

I also think that one thing that Max likes about Logan is that he looks her straight in the eye.  He is strongly forthright with her.  More so even now that he is in pain.

Hey, I think that in S2 some of the best chars disappeared, like Bling and Herbal who are the most funny ones . But other like Kendra that I don't really like I didn't even miss. I think that they cut them out 'cause they were funny and care free and S2 is dark and sad. I mean (this is a char thread but let's make a little season comparations here ;D) S1 was much more lighter than S2. If you compare S1 to S2 things changed completely, S2 should be more like a S4. Even the looks of the chars, if you watch a S1 episode then a S2 you think that they are at least 2 years older, you look at Max and see her long and straight hair and in S2 she uses much more darker clothes, I never saw her with those cute and sexy little tops ;D. And Logan in the beginning of S2 has that awful long hair and ridiculous glasses. Then OC and Sketchy also chaged looks totally. So I think that things changed drastically in so little time. Anyway maybe this doesn't fit in this post but whetever feel free to put it anywhere else. O u T

Yes, that was Martin Cummins. Posted a comment in "Where they are, are going ..." thread.

Nicole Bilderbach (sp?), aka Brin, is a recurrent character on Dawson's Creek.

I don't think I could watch anything with the actor Martin Cummins in. I disliked the character of White so much that I have confused the actor with the character he played.

But then I disliked all the new season 2 characters except Asha, so probably would avoid the actors like the vermin plague.

I really liked the character of Brin and was so sorry she was dumped along with most of the other ethnic and older actors.

Yes. I do intend to move on someday.

I didn't know where else to put this, so I'm putting it here.

I think I lost a lot of my respect for this forum tonight. What kind of people get mad at others for liking a character that they dislike, and act as if they've been personally attacked because someone else happens to like that character? What kind of people close a thread and threaten to ban members because those members like a character that others dislike?

I know what happened way back when, I know both sides of the story, and I really cannot understand what was so offensive about that particular White-oriented post. I just...cannot. And, judging from this...

It's sad, because on the whole, I like this forum. It's comforting to be surrounded by M/Ls, and god knows I love seeing new pictures of JA and MW. But...that just really, really upset me.
