2.01 - Designate This

Since this is a Season One, Max and Logan Board, our season 2 caps and conversation should revolve around the characters in Season One.There are a lot of characters, other than Max and Logan, that we can talk about.

We don't want to start whining and complaining about the season 2 characters. We've been there - done that - and done it again.

We don't want them talked about here at all. Please no photos of the hot boy, the dog boy, no little boys levitating Max, no snake people, no freakin' freaks and no familiars.

LOGAN: Her name was Max.

I watched her die. The thing is, I can't really believe she's gone. I don't believe it. I know it sounds crazy, but I feel like...she's still out there.

(We see Logan doing the Eyes Only broadcast from his apartment.)

EYES ONLY: This covert operation is known as Project Manticore. Its goal: to create the perfect soldier, genetically enhanced for superior strength and speed. These children are subjected to relentless training and propaganda. In the winter of 2009, twelve of them escaped from a facility in Gillette, Wyoming. Some of them were captured; some of them were tortured; some gave their lives fighting to stay free. Since these cable hacks began, Manticore has consolidated its operations to a secret location. Eyes Only will find it, and the people responsible for these crimes will be brought to justice. This has been a streaming freedom video bulletin. Peace. Out.

(Logan ends the broadcast and wheels over to his computer. After putting on his glasses and glancing over his shoulder, he opens a still from the surveillance video he used to guide Max and Zack through Manticore. The still is a shot of Max. He enlarges the picture and touches the screen.)

(At his computer, Logan is playing back a prerecorded Eyes Only message.)

EYES ONLY: Do not attempt to adjust your set. This is a streaming freedom video. Your location has been revealed.

(The computer beeps and a message appears on the monitor saying "Satellite link failed." Logan grunts and attempts to reconnect. While it's processing, he turns around and sees Max standing a few feet away. His eyes widen and he stands up.)

LOGAN: Max.

MAX: We gotta get you out of here. They're coming to get you.

(He kisses her. She returns the kiss. After a minute they draw apart and hold each other.)

wave's caps have all disappeared so I thought I'd post a few. They're not very good but I've never taken the time to learn how to make caps.





































And not to forget Asha.



I think I was one of the few DA fans that liked Asha. She filled an important role for me. She irritated Max, made her jealous, and that always made me laugh. One of things I liked was they just threw Asha in and didn’t take valuable time explaining her background. She was just there to support Logan.

I liked Asha as well. Unfortunately they never did much with her, TPTB were to busy playing abound with Dog Boy and the various freaks of the week.

It's a pity they didn't spend more time looking at the Eyes Only network and Asha's resistence group (whatever they called themselves) rather than the Manticore Freaks. The corruption, new government order, sector police, espionage themes etc were sadly missing in S2.
