(Logan turns around to find Max standing behind him, holding up a gas container and grinning.)MAX: Hey. LOGAN: Hey. Where you going? MAX: “We,” remember? (She sets down the gas container and a bag) The dizzying heights…fresh country air…hiking in the Cascades…We talked about it last week! LOGAN: You might’ve noticed there’ve been some changes since then. Unless you’re planning to roll me off Mount Rainier, you might want to reconsider. MAX: What? You’re back in the chair so you can’t have a life anymore? LOGAN: No, but I can’t exactly scale mountains now, can I? MAX: Forget about the dizzying heights. What about the country air? Campfires…S’mores. LOGAN: I got work to do. MAX: And I spent the entire morning waiting in line for gas. LOGAN: You can’t get out of the city anyway. Not without— (Max holds out two laminated cards.)LOGAN: —sector passes. (He reaches for them and Max yanks them away.)MAX: Class One, VIP, no-questions-asked sector passes. I had to hang upside-down outside the window for an hour to swipe these from police headquarters. I almost horked, I got so nauseous, and I hate horking. You’re not bailing on me. LOGAN: Who said anything about bailing? (She looks at him and he smiles.)

This episode was a big favorite with Logan fans when it aired March 27th, 2001, in the U.S.
They left Seattle together, Logan got to be the hero and he actually killed the bad guys. Max, the genetically altered killing machine, rarely killed.
MAX: It’s good to know that when the superhero’s otherwise occupied, the sidekick’s ready to step in.
When Dark Angel first aired I made little notes about each episode. After Haven I wrote: "Max and Logan left Seattle for a couple of days of fun. They argued all weekend and Logan killed four guys while Max had seizures."
Even though I liked the episode I have it listed as my least favorite, # 21.
I rearrange this list every time I rewatch Season One but Haven always stays down near the bottom.

I admit that the first time I saw this ep I cringed. It was all a bit too 'Sixth Sense' or something? Time heals all and I found that I enjoyed the ep a lot more during my recent DA marathon. Still not one of my faves, but compared to S2...

Still not one of my faves, but compared to S2... Hah. Truth. You're right, it was a bit weird, felt slightly out of place or something. But I enjoyed it. Was cool to see Logan get gangsta with the shotgun. And his house traps were way cooler than Macaulay Culkins'.

Just rewatched this ep, really liked Max in this episode. "As long as I get my s'mores" ;D It does kind of bug me that the kid actor is too young to have been a 5 year old at the time of the pulse. The actor looks at most 3 or 4 years older than the actor who played him in the flashbacks .

just looked up on imdb.com and the kid in the flashbacks name is Aiden Jarrar does not say his birthday. the other kid that plays the older kid name is David Kaye born 4th August 1988.
