^^^ I was going to write more on that list giving my thoughts on each show but even Mr TV doesn't want to hear that much of Mr TV Enough of the the past, back to current shows Chuck is back I was a little iffy on the new premise, the first two eps had their moments but it seemed kind of awkward , but the 3rd ep was Awesome. One of the best eps of the entire series. and yes AngelZ ( the only other chuck watcher here ) I used the word awesome for the exact reason you think I did, the rest of you are not awesome and therefore do not deserve an explanation

Looks like Fringe has finally learned a lesson from the X Files and decided to make their show a little more episodic by mixing in some random cases instead of every ep being about "the pattern" I've really enjoyed these couple of eps but I have to admit it makes the show even more X Filesish. Speaking of the X Files I saw the previews for last weeks Bones and they were doing a UFO episode so i gave that show a try for the first time, really enjoyed it. I've since watched a few reruns on TNT and think I am now fully on board this show .

Quite frankly that show is a case of writers giving the fans too much of what they want. Given the obvious UST they gave the fangirls as many moments as they could come up with and in so doing the simmering tension has curdled. I got into that show about a year ago strictly out of boredom and enjoyed it, mostly, up until Booth's hallucination episode which was example of how far the writers have had to go to do something new that keeps the fans happy without breaking the UST.

UST? Well like I said the only new show I've seen was the UFO episode last week, the 4-5 other eps were from earlier in the shows run. The eps I saw were when Bones started dating a different FBI agent named Sully and in the last ep he sailed off for the Caribbean. I like the Bones and Booth characters, the rest are meh though that artist/computer chick has got a 'know it all' thing going on and that can grate after awhile.

I loaded the first 3 Chuck eps onto my phone to watch while I'm away (perfect 30oC and blue skies every day :-)) but now I'm dying to find out what happens to Awesome!!! Another week before I'm home again. is it strange that I've just realized that my least fave characters are Chuck and Sarah? OMG what they did to Emmet (sp) Tony Hale's character!!! *** looking forward (but sad) to the finale of Dollhouse. Had elements for a good show but overall a bit wishy washy. Best thing to come out of it was the guy who played Victor.

Well in the spirit of extreme boredem trying something new, I've done what dzero is doing with Bones, except with Chuck. I've watched the first 4 episodes of the new season and I gotta say I'm not impressed. I won't give any spoilers away for Angelz about the 4th ep she hasn't watched yet but I do have two things to say about it. Firstly Angie Harmon is still gorgeous, secondly I sort of loved and sort of hated the whole ode to Fight Club thing. One the one hand the level of detail they went to with the sunglasses and especially the musical cues was cool, on the other hand no one satirizes Fight Club! As far as the show as a whole I'm really not digging it tbh, the character of Chuck just feels like a not as witty version of Seth Cohen from the OC. As a result when it comes to playing the whole awkward yet funny Jew, Zachary Levi just doesn't hold a candle to Adam Brody. That being said he doesn't get the kind of great one liners Brody got or have anyone to provide the witty repartee Ben McKenzie did so well on the OC. Adam Baldwin was tolerable on Firefly but here hes kind of obnoxious. As far as Dollhouse goes thats a show I think I might revisit but after watching the first 4 eps (Hulu is an insomniacs best friend) I really wasn't crazy about it. The only thing that makes me want to go back to it was the Topher character, outside of him I never really found any of the other characters worth watching.

I won't miss him, I wish they'd bring back that asian guy who was Chucks competition for assistant manager back on the first couple episodes. That guy was hilarious. Can't believe they got rid of him so quick.

And despite how lightweight and goofy the show is I don't think it's something anyone should start watching in the middle of S3, this is one of those that needs to be seen from the beginning.
