This is a new thread for news and information about Jessica Alba's new film "Chuck." Jessica Alba Boards Good Luck Chuck Source: Variety June 15, 2006 Jessica Alba is joining Dane Cook in the Lionsgate comedy Good Luck Chuck, directed by Mark Helfrich, reports Variety. Cook plays a serial dater who gets a reputation that any woman dating him will rebound into meeting her soulmate. When the man meets his true love, he must find a way to end the streak and keep her. Alba will play that woman. Josh Stolberg wrote the script, and Mike Karz is producing. Shooting begins next month. If you are going to show that link, which isn't to the photos, you need to give directions. What does a person click on when they get there?  When you do this I get email asking if I know the link.  Or better yet, give a link to the page with the actual pics. |

After you get to www.JessicaAlbaFanatics.com, choose the language that you want to see all of the new updates in and then to the right you should see the newest gallery and there you should see the pictures. I promise this is not as hard as it might sound.  |

I thought "direct holinking" meant if I went to jessicaalbafanatics and took a pic from their site and put it up directly onto this site? Instead of doing it the normal way of copying from their site to a photobucket account and putting that image up this site?  I think Aerie's suggestion is ok  . It's not "hotlinking" as far as my understanding goes. |

Hotlinking or direct linking is when the entire link is posted somewhere, I try to respect that when I post here or elsewhere and if I'm not sure, I will just give the dot com address and nothing further. A person can use photobucket or another site similar to it to post pictures from a site that does not allow direct hotlinking, because, it will not use any of the bandwidth of the site in question. I think that it's better to safe than sorry in this case.

What is Aerie is suggesting is a link to the page containing that particular gallery of pictures to which you refered. This is certainly not hotlinking. It is no different than posting their address and it is not using up any bandwith.
