Saw JA interviewed at that US party from last night. The interview was on E news daily which is always repeated several times during the night and tomorrow morning. Plus there will be a second part of the interview on tomorrows show. Tonights interview was mostly about her fashion sense and workout regimen. She seemed to be in a great mood, was all laughing and giggly which is always nice to see . She also talked about being an American Idol fan . Oh well, nobody is perfect ;D. I think I'm the only one in the world who has never watched that show

Style Icons 2006 Us honors the best-dressed celebs — and the experts who keep Hollywood in fashion By JOEY BARTOLOMEO & CAROL MCCOLGIN JESSICA ALBA STYLE ICON OF THE YEAR — ♦ — Starry night! it's hard to stand out in a sea of celebs as stylish as Reese, Charlize and Nicole, but at the 78th Annual Academy Awards, all eyes were on 25-year-old presenter Jessica Alba. Her floor-sweeping golden Versace halter gown with $480,000 of H. Stern diamond bling stole the show -- and topped fashion critics' best-dressed lists. Her response? "I could go for black, but why not? I'm at the Oscars!" she told Us. It's Alba's enthusiasm and effortless glamour that make her Us's 2006 Style Icon. New Attitude "Before, I just wore whatever designers gave me -- I wasn't secure enough to have [my own] style," Alba, who is shooting sequels to Sin City and Fantastic Four, tells Us. "Now I know what I like and what looks good." Her fashion don'ts include short skirts, shiny materials, floral prints and revealing too much skin. In the Mix Alba favors feminine but "not overly frilly" frocks by Yves Saint Laurent and Viktor & Rolf, a few Grace Kelly- inspired vintage pieces and men's cashmere sweaters cinched at the waist. "I'm not the sexiest or shiniest. I'd rather be most elegant," she says. Here's the link, www.usmagazine.com/features/

I was a little surprised that they didn't get a younger, teenage host for the MTV Movie Awards, due to the main age group that watches this type of awards show.

I wonder what is the average age of the viewer, not just for the award show, but the whole MTV thing. I don't watch MTV so I can't comment on the programs. Rumor has it back in the old days it was music vids all day and night. Someone with time could research last year's ratings and viewer ages.

From channel surfing past MTV, I don't think that they play many music videos anymore, that's for their sister station MTV 2. Like a lot of television networks, I get the impression that MTV relies on a lot reality television directed at teenagers.

I just checked and I see I have MTV2. Didn't know it.? I might record it during the night to see what they offer in the way of music. Hmmmm, maybe my sexetary dzero could - would - should check it out for me. Like any good sexetary I have anticipated your needs before you articulated them . I've already seen MTV2 and I'm afraid they don't have much more music than MTV . And what they do have is alot of Rap which I'm not into . They did have a couple music shows I can recommend though I haven't watched lately so I'm not sure if they're still on . "T-minus rock" is a countdown of videos from alt rock acts like we would hear on Kroq . Even better was/is a show called "Discover and Download" or something close to that. This has occasionally been on MTV but runs more often on MTV2. This has truly unique acts on, stuff you don't usually hear much on the radio or anywhere else. P.S. I realize this whole post has been OT, but please remember I am only a sexetary trying to fulfill the needs of my boss. In other words it's all Aerie's fault .
