I enjoyed this episode a lot and much more than I did last week's episode which I thought focused too much on recurring characters and not enough on the regular characters. I know that it seemed like Tony may be serious about his current girlfriend, but, I think that it was interesting that when he was trying to admit to himself why he wasn't able to take the next step in their relationship that Ziva called him. I also liked how both Gibbs and McGee stood up to the director and learning a bit more about McGee and his relationship with his sister. I thought that the director should've known that perhaps a drug was present in Sarah's system but, that it may be harder to trace due to the drug dissolving quickly once it was taken.

I finally got caught up with this season's episodes. On a scale of 1 to 10 I gave this one a 5. Some of the others this season have not been 10's but this one sunk to the bottom for me. Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to much McGeek for me. It's a personal thing. I don't have a lot of time for fun and I sure don't want to waste it on Sir DPB's family home movies. He was careful to schedule this one so it wouldn't conflict with Dancing With the Idiots, or whatever Fox show that usually beats NCIS is the ratings. That's called cheating where I come from, but making the most of the nepots is what show biz does best. ;D I already have my edited recording that just shows the Tony scenes. Fun to watch and keeps me smiling.

I I sure don't want to waste it on Sir DPB's family home movies. Oh at last a Soul Sista! I feel like an outcast over at Special Ops being the only person to give this ep a score under 7.5. I gave it a 6 - and it was Tony that earnt every one of those points. I guess this ep just wasn't NCIS to me. It was the S4 equivalent of Call of Silence - which was also pukesville. The peanut butter pizza was COMPLETELY STUPID!!! This is for you Sir Don, King of Nepotown

Even during the first episode i thought this season was extremely lacking. I'm all for character developement if it improves the show, but all the changes they've made have just made the show boring and same-y. They have tried to humanize Ziva, make McGeek cool, and it seems like they are trying to castrate Tony.
I always describe NCIS to people who have never seen it as 'CSI with a sense of humour', but now it's just getting stupid, and not in a fun 'oh look Tony fell in a hole'(mind out of the gutter) way.

I think that part of the reason that I've liked Ziva is that the writers have tried to use her background in a constructive manner when they can, with Kate, I thought that her background was often ignored or in some respect used against her and so I think that using Ziva's background in a constructive manner is a big improvement on the show. I thought that whenever something went wrong during a case that Kate would somehow be involved after awhile and I thought that became predictable. I think that the writers overdid the Tony and Kate scenes and that plotline really took on a life of its own, but, I would've liked to have seen Kate take on a stronger role in the cases opposed to the Tony/Kate banter if I were to choose between the two. I thought that in all the time that Kate was at NCIS that we really learned very little about her in comparison to the other regulars and I thought that was unfortunate. I like the mysteriousness that Ziva has brought to the show and that she is smart and capable and able to keep Tony on his toes. I also think that DPB is the kind of person who likes having his family work for him and so, I think that Sean Murray and the rest of the family would somehow be involved with NCIS even if they weren't on camera and I don't hold that against Sean Murray or anyone else in that family.

Yup, how else could an ego maniac, micro-manager type control his family. (thumb)These are people who can't get a job in show biz because they can't act, they don't have charisma, they aren't that good looking. Must I go on. Not to mention a mouth that looks like it belongs on another part of the body. eeeeewwwwwwwUnless we can bring some new insight and not repeat the same thing over and over, it's not necessary to rush to the defense when someone expresses an opinion that differs from yours. Why the j*#&s c#&^#t does this have to happen to the only series I've watched since the summer of 2002. Why, WHY, WHY. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Oh well, that "F" on my birth certificate doesn't stand for fair. This continues to be a boring subject, not to mention repetitive, to most readers so I shall stop complaining about a series that has taken a Dark Angel season 2 path. What a baby, crying over a stupid TV show.

(but it's a different complaint, I promise...)What is the deal with this romance and Tony? It's just not working for me. Hey, I was all about all the smooching time we could get for MW in DA, so it's not any weirdness about our boy sucking face with some floozy, but even if it might fit the character, it just doesn't fit the show. (and if doesn't help that every Tony- playing- doctor scene, hubby yells something about them pandering to us "girls...") They can boot this sub-plot ... (tho' until last week I was convincing myself she was his secret undercover assignment... ) (and so it's not all that different a complaint, but I was curious if anyone was reading...)

Explanation? Apology? Heh! Wondered if anyone would see that, too. Glad I could count on you, dzero! (and... hmmm... would I call JA "some floozy?" At least, not just any old floozy... )

(and... hmmm... would I call JA "some floozy?" At least, not just any old floozy... ) Oh, very cute. That's the most unapologetic apology I've heard in quite awhile. Very impressed . OK, lets get back to what's important. Our country obviously needs a law banning Peanut Butter Pizza . Think that's a crazy idea? Well our country has lots of crazy laws and regulations. For example I now have to present my Drivers Liscense when buying Claritin- D. That's just nutz.

Oh, very cute. That's the most unapologetic apology I've heard in quite awhile. Very impressed . ....what apology?Yeah, I talked myself into taking that as a 'toungue in cheek' apology in the interest of board unity . But you seem uninterested I guess that leaves me no choice but to start casting dispersions on MW's character . But no, I refuse to stoop to your level . I am a fan of all the DA actors. So there .
