It's been brought to my attention that we need a place to discuss our favorite character, Tony DiNozzo, and his best bud, Michael Weatherly. This thread is dedicated to Michael Weatherly and his show, and his 6 or 7 minutes each week on NCIS. Don't blink. If you wish to drool over the other actors in NCIS go to ncisspecialops.proboards29.com/index.cgi . . .

I like how we get to see more of the serious side to Tony this season without him losing his humourous side. I would prefer that the writer stop having him go through Kate's things to be nosey, but other than that, I like their sibling rivalry type relationship this season. We could do with more Tony in tight jeans and tight t-shirts too. But that's just my humble opinion

I think that Michael is very lucky in that he gets the opportunity to display his range as an actor and that Tony Dinozzo is a completely different character than Logan Cale and that both his character and the show have been well-received by viewers and is successful as far as ratings go. I don't think that many actors or actresses including those who are considered to be on the A list get the chance real often to show the range that they have as actors or actresses.

This is snipped from an article in the new TV Guide and contains SPOILERS.TV Guide March 27, 2005Then there's battle-of-the-sexes combatants Michael Weatherly, who plays the adorable smart-ass Anthony DiNozzo, and Sasha Alexander, as Special Agent Kate Todd, who may or may not be attracted to DiNozzo, when she isn't repulsed by his sexist cracks. Bellisario describes DiNozzo as a "Neanderthal" and the "most politically incorrect guy you want in your office."
DiNozzo and Kate will get closer in May's finale -- under the threat of bioterrorism. Says Bellisario, "DiNozzo opens an envelope filled with white powder, and since Kate is nearby and has a cold, both are rushed to Bethesda Naval Hospital and into isolation." Trapped together for 48 hours, one of them will be infected. "We're going to learn a lot more about their relationship," says Bellisario, "beyond the bickering."
Hmmmm, How far beyond?
"I don't even want to go there," says Bellisario. "I'm not about to start a Mac-Harm thing like I did on JAG. No way."
And yet, back on the set, Alexander and Weatherly, think it would be a great idea if their characters found romance. Sitting in a director's chair during a break, Weatherly, grins. "Yeah, Kate would find out she is so unbelievably attracted to DiNozzo she couldn't resist," he says.

You would probably like some of the episodes of NCIS, mattjay. Michael Weatherly's character is very funny, hitting on every attractive female he sees and annoying the hell out of his co-worker, Kate. It does have a great female character, Abby, who's a lab/computer geek goth. Her outfits and tats, and Michael's character are worth a watch. I wish they had more scenes together. They have an older hard-ass boss who brings out the humor in the younger characters and that's a good thing. Otherwise, the plots are so so, and they've added a couple of boring male characters this season that I just ignore. I'm always interested to see what younger viewers think of NCIS because TPTB say they want to attract younger viewers.

Hey McGee’s scenes with Tony are totally hilarious, then again it’s probably the Tony factor that takes McGee out of the boring category for me even when it’s just McGee worrying about what Tony’s gonna say.

The Tony part is okay with me but the McGeek part sucks big time. jebus they already had five characters what did they need with more. Tony had some great scenes with Abby before McGeek came on the scene. But what the hell, the guy needed a job and why have relatives in the biz unless you hire 'em. Let's talk about Tony on this thread. After all Michael Weatherly is what we are all about here. The other guy can get his own place. Hey, don't forget. I'm number one here.
